The 2 bedrooms (one en-suite) have double beds and the 3 seater sofa in the living area converts to a 3rd double bed. All living areas have their own balconies/terrace and air-conditioning/heating units installed. The apartment is fully equipped for all your needs. Electrical appliances include a fridge freezer, oven/hob/extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, TV/DVD and CD player. Outside there are landscaped gardens, natural stone walling, BBQ facilities and a communal feature infinity swimming pool from which the views are truly spectacular.

Coast/Beach
The apartment sits high on a hillside overlooking Yalikavak bay and the Greek Isles beyond. The sea is in such close proximity that we guarantee you will be in awe of the views that can be seen from every South facing aspect of the property and which offer possibly the best unobstructed views in Yalikavak. The wonderful beaches of Yalikavak are just a short 10 minute bus ride away.
Travel
Bodrum Airport is 40 minutes. Local transport is easily accessible or car hire (if required) readily available from Yalikavak Centre.
Distances
Yalikavak centre and all its amenities is a short bus ride away. Gumusluk and Bodrum are also easily accessible. The nearest Dolmus stop is a 10 min walk. Taxis are an alternative means of local transport and are very reasonable. A one-way trip during the day and up until midnight costs £7. After 12pm the cost is £11. There is a small shop very close to the apartment for any essential grocery items.
Further details
Yalikavak is an authentic Turkish fishing village, with plentiful restaurants which specialize in the locally caught sea food, a variety of shops and a high class international marina a short walk along the shorefront. Yalikavak is both magical and enchanting. The people are friendly and welcoming and the surroundings beautiful and relaxing. Even during the hottest of summer days there is an endless breeze that cools this unique place and as the night draws in you can sit back and be privileged to the most amazing sunsets.
Bodrum is a cosmopolitan resort and a shoppers paradise. It is a bustling town, generally a few degrees hotter than Yalikavak and has a vibrant nightlife with a large number of bars, discos and clubs. On the outskirts of Bodrum there is a water park and in the centre the main Dolmus station is excellent for access to other resorts around the peninsula. The Bodrum Peninsula is one of the most beautiful parts of Turkey’s Aegean Coast. There are numerous small fishing villages and resorts around the coast, each with their own individual character. There are many beaches and many offering a range of watersports.
Lycian and Roman ruins can be found throughout the region including attractions such as Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world, the temple of Apollo at Didim and the 16th century castle of St Peter built by the crusaders in Bodrum. There are a range of boat trips that can be taken from Yalikavak or Bodrum that visit many secluded coves, or if you wish to go further a field you can take a daily ferry to the Greek island of Kos from the harbour at Bodrum or Turgutries. Scuba diving, sea fishing, horse-riding, Turkish baths and jeep safaris are just a selection of other activities that can be arranged with one of the local travel agents. Car hire can also be arranged in Yalikavak if you wish to explore the area independently.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking. Balance of payment due to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date. No refunds if booking cancelled within eight weeks from start date of holiday. There is a refundable breakages deposit of £150 which we request with your final payment. Payments by cheque made payable to K Blair.

We would highly recommend this property. The view is beautiful and the apartment very comfortable. The town is charming and from this place you can visit the many historic sites which is great. Mr and Mrs Streeter, March 2008.
We are back home after 7 wonderful days in your superb apartment. The weather was perfect, the view to die for and the people from the other apartments so kind and helpful, we couldnt have had a better 7 days anywhere. We enjoyed Yalikavak very much. Feet firmly back on the ground now. Just want to be back in Blue Water Bay!!! We really enjoyed every aspect of our holiday and your lovely apartment considerably enhanced the experience. We arrived at the apartment as dawn was breaking and it was achingly beautiful! Everything was perfect -loved the way the apartment was furnished, beds, bedding, lounge area etc. Avril July 2011

About the owner
Paul and I live in the Yorkshire Dales, where we moved to 14 years ago after deciding to leave Nottingham and get out of the rat race. We have a border collie and three cats, as well as two ex-racehorses. We own a National gutter cleaning company which we set up 4 years ago. We had spoken for many years about buying a property abroad and fell in love with Yalikavak when we first visited it in 2006. We both love the sea and could not resist the penthouse apartment when we saw its position on the hillside overlooking the whole of the bay and in such proximity to the sea! We really enjoy staying there re-charging the batteries and chilling out and so enjoy being able to offer the same experience to others.
