Set within the exclusive Patara Prince resort, Kalkan. You will have access to 4 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, diving centre, water sports, restaurants and bars, all within walking distance of the villa. Fantastic sea views from the master bedroom, lounge area and private terrace with barbecue.

This villa is unsuitable for very young children and people with walking difficulties.
Outside
The private terrace has fantastic views across the bay to Kalkan. Patara Prince resort offers two-sea water, one fresh water and one indoor pool. The round pool is for over 16's only, the main pool has a child area. Both pools have poolside bars and snack bars in high season.
Two floodlit tennis courts are situated at the top of the resort.
Coast/Beach
Patara Prince resort has it's own private water frontage with secluded bathing platforms. You can gain access to the sea via small ladders. Kalkan (3 minutes by taxi) has it's own man made beach. Patara beach is a must see, around 18km of sandy beach which is protected due to the turtles laying their eggs here and is around 20 minutes by car, you can find local buses that will also run a service here.
Travel
Dalaman airport is the nearest, transfers will take around 2 hours and can be arranged for you. For 2-3 people the cost would be £100, for an air conditioned mini bus the costs would be £150 return. Distances
Kalkan is a few minutes drive from Patara Prince resort, walkable if you prefer! A water taxi runs from the diving center to Kalkan throughout the day. You can book a taxi from the hotel reception at any time.
Further details
Patara Prince resort has a mini-market at the top of the resort, for a bigger shop, Kalkan has a range of larger supermarkets. A daily fresh fish and veg market is also situated in Kalkan. Banks, hospital,a Thursday market, shops, rooftop restuarants are situated in Kalkan.
You also have a choice of restuarants where you can dine under the stars in Patara, within walking distance of the villa.

Our names are Sarah & Ray, we live in East Devon, we have 2 dogs and 3 horses so are kept pretty busy.
Ray is a financial adviser and I am a natural horsemanship teacher.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
When we first visited Patara Prince in 2005 we fell in love with it, in fact we fell in love with Kalkan as well. We have both travelled to different places but agreed that this was one of the places we would be happy to return to time after time.
The people, the laid back attitude, scenery, places to visit, food, beauty of the area, stillness up in the mountains, shops, all helped us to decide to buy here in the resort, we have never regretted our decision.
Patara Prince has it's own pools, private terraces for sunbathing and relaxing during the day, you don't need to go anywhere if you don't want to!
If you want to visit Kalkan in the evening you have a wide choice of very good restaurants to choose from, mostly located on the rooftops.....stunning.
Unique benefits of the property
Villa Kismet (we also have a smaller suite called the Ottoman Suite) is located close to the main courtyard of the resort, this means it's a short walk to the main and adult pool, a stroll to the hotel lobby, Italian restaurant and cocktail bar.
It is second row so affords a fantastic uninterrupted view of the bay of Kalkan, you can sit and watch the boats leave from Kalkan in the morning whilst you have a coffee on your private veranda.
Both bedrooms have newly re-furbished en-suite shower rooms with clean fresh tiling and glass shower screens.
Cedar wooden floors clad with Turkish rugs upstairs and clean neutral painted walls throughout. Downstairs has marble flooring, marble breakfast bar with wooden french doors opening onto your private terrace, again a room with a view!
