A beautifully furnished luxury detached 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private pool and gardens. The villa is situated in a superbly landscaped development at Gumusluk on the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula. The villa commands fantastic sea views from both the balcony and terrace and the sunsets are spectacular. The villa has a spacious living area with sliding patio doors leading onto a large terrace which overlooks the pool. Upstairs there is a double master bedroom with furnished balcony, a further double bedroom and family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom, a further bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen and laundry room. There is air-conditioning throughout and heating to keep you warm in the cooler months. Outside there is ample space for relaxing, either on the terrace by the pool or within the landscaped gardens. The villa is perfectly situated, within easy walking distance of the beach and renowned seafood restaurants of Gumusluk Bay.

Changeover day
Changeovers are flexible. The property is available from 16:00 noon on the day of arrival. The usual departure time is 10.00 am although we aim to be flexible wherever possible.

A welcome pack is provided, ideal for those late arrivals. There is air-conditioning throughout, and heating to keep you warm in the cooler months.
Accessibility
Access to the property is via a stone staircase which may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
There is a fully furnished terrace adjoining the living area with table, umbrella and seating for 6, ideal for alfresco dining. The terrace overlooks the lovely swimming pool (10m x 4m) which is surrounded by gardens and lawned areas where there are sunbeds for relaxing in the sun. There is a large furnished balcony upstairs, which is accessible from the main bedroom and furnished with coffee table, sofa and armchairs. As well as a private pool, the villa also has access to 2 large communal swimming pools (approx 25m in length) and landscaped gardens. The site even has its own amphitheatre! The pool, terraces and walkways all benefit from external lighting and parking is provided adjacent to the property.
Coast/Beach
The villa is perfectly situated in a beautiful area close to the pretty fishing village of Gumusluk. The village, with its beach and renowned seafood restaurants is easily accessible, within 15 minutes walking distance or 2 minutes by car. Gumusluk is a protected area, being built on the ancient city of Myndos. The ruins and mosaics are still visible in the shallow waters around Rabbit Island. The bay is ideal for snorkeling and there are other watersports facilities available from the beach.
Travel
There are flights to Bodrum Milas airport from most UK airports. The flight time to Bodrum is approximately 4 hours. Onur Air offers scheduled flights direct to Bodrum all year round from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester. Charter airlines fly to Bodrum from most UK airports during the summer months (from May to October inclusive). The property is a 60 minute drive from the airport. Car hire is available at the airport, although not essential. Transfers can be arranged if required.
Distances
The villa is 1.5 km from the village of Gumusluk along tarmacadam roads (it is slightly shorter on foot!). Bodrum is 18 km away and the airport is 53 km away.
Further details
Whilst offering the opportunity for a quiet relaxing holiday, the villa also gives easy access to the sights and attractions of the Bodrum Peninsula. Other villages on the Peninsula such as Turgutreis and Yalikavak, with their weekly markets, are easily accessible via Dolmus or car. Bodrum, with its imposing castle and harbour, is a 20 minute drive away and has all the facilities of a larger holiday resort. Further afield, the ancient ruins of Ephesus are well worth a visit. Branches of the main Turkish banks can be found alongside the main road into Bodrum. ATM's can be found outside the banks, in Bodrum itself and in Turgutreis. Branches of the larger supermarket chains, such as Migros and Kipa can be found on the road into Bodrum and in Turgutreis which is a 15 minute drive away. The local mini-markets are very good, selling basics and plentiful fresh locally produced fruit and vegetables. For eating out there is no need to travel further than the village of Gumusluk. There are a number of excellent seafood restaurants alongside the harbour and beach.
Booking notes
Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of £100 will secure a booking, with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. A refundable security deposit of £150 is payable with the balance, which will be returned to you one week after you return to the UK.
