Apartment set in beautiful gardens. Sea views to the front and mountains to the rear of the property. Fully air-conditioned. 20-25 minutes walk or 3 minute car drive to the town centre and main beach. There is a large balcony with sea views and outside furniture for al fresco eating with sea views. Also private roof terrace for taking in the stunning views of the sea and mountains, whilst enjoying a cold beer and a barbecue. Yalikavak, which is on the Bodrum Peninsula is a beautiful part of Turkey's Aegean Coast. There are many beaches and coves on the Peninsula to explore by car or boat. Yalikavak was once a small fishing port and still retains that charm. It is famous for its beautiful sunsets. The town features lovely harbourside restaurants, relaxing bars and sandy beaches. The open air Thursday market is one of the largest on the Bodrum Peninsula, selling local produce along with clothes, leather goods, rugs, etc. Yalikavak also boasts a new multi-million pound marina.

Discounts available. Long term lets, between October - April £600 per month. Between May - September £800 per month. Early booking (at least 6 months prior to stay) - 10%.
Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible, as are arrival and departure times (dependant on timings of arrival of new guests).

Accessibility
Property not up any large hills. No steep steps. There are steps from apartment down to pool and from apartment to road level. Apartment is on top floor, but wide stair access.
Outside
There are landscaped gardens surrounding the complex and good size swimming pool, kiddies pool which are shared between the 14 apartments. Sun beds are available for use around the pool area. Barbecues are allowed on the roof terrace.
Coast/Beach
There is a long sandy beach in the centre of Yalikavak, 20-25 minutes walk away or 3 minutes by car, which stretches from the small harbour to around the bay. The many coves and beaches around the Peninsula may be accessed by car or boat. A 5 minute walk takes you to the shingle seafront at Geris Alti where you can also swim.
Dolmus' (minibus) and taxis available form the local bus station will take you to many destinations such as other nearby resorts, beaches, and Bodrum town very cheaply.
Travel
Bodrum Milas airport is about a 40 minute drive along a beautiful coastal road. Assistance with transfers can be arranged at the time of booking and cost approximately £40 for 2/4 people. Due to the location of the apartment car hire is not essential but we can provide help with arranging if this is required. Dolmus’ now run past the bottom of our road going into Yalikavak centre, or to Gumusluk. There is a large taxi rank in Yalikavak Town and a bus station.
Distances
Lower Geris and waterfront restaurants is 5 mins walk from the apartment. The new Marina with shops, restaurants and bars is a 15 mins walk. Yalikavak with its small pavement cafes, restaurants and bars along the harbours ide and promenade is a 20-25 mins walk. 3 mins drive from the apartment.
15 km/30 mins drive away is Bodrum, the largest resort. It has a marina, many shops and lively nightlife. Nearby is an aquapark. You can also take boat trips, including to Kos.
Further details
There are local supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and shops selling souvenirs and local craft items all within walking distance. Larger supermarkets are within a 3 mins drive. The restaurants in Yalikavak provide a range of food to suit all tastes, including fresh fish, traditional Turkish cuisine and high quality international dishes.
Boat trips can be arranged along the waterfront and these offer excellent value for money. Yacht charter is available for the Marina. There is a weekly market every Thursday in Yalikavak, which is one of the largest on the Peninsula, selling local produce and an assortment of clothes, leathers goods etc.
Bikes can be hired from £5 per person per day from Clover Property Management which is situated in Yalikavak Bus Station. We can arrange car hire for you prior to arrival (airport transfers are then no extra charge) or there are car hire firms in Yalikavak. Both reasonable rates. Should you wish airport transfers, we can arrange. Cost £45 for up to 3 persons, £75 for 4.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% of cost of stay is required within 7 days to secure booking (14 days if monies are coming from outside the UK). This is non-refundable.
A refundable breakage fee of £100 is required and is payable with balance. This is refundable within 10 days of departure if no breakages/damages occur.
The balance is to be paid in full 56 days prior to start date of holiday.
Cancellation prior to 8 weeks - 15% charge.
After 8 weeks - no refund.
