Gin & Tonic is set in the peaceful Kalamar Bay only minutes drive from Kalkan town centre. The area offers unrivalled and uninterrupted views, a tranqil cove and sea swimming from a platform minutes walk from the villa. There are also 2 popular beach clubs and associated restaurants within a few minutes walk. The two floor villa has been interior designed to create a spacious, comfortable and 'home away from home' feeling incorporating influences of modern Turkish and English designs. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area extending out to private infinity pool and jacuzzi, outdoor dining and sunlounging area. The upstairs area has 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite, with private balconies and an additional shared balcony for relaxing in the sunshine. Gin & Tonic is set in a quiet, and very private location. The evening alfresco dining at the villa offers a magical experience situated by floodlit pool overlooking the twinkling lights of the bay.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Monday but there is flexibilty with this arrangement.

| Living Rooms: | Dining table and 6 dining chairs provided. Living area has comfortable 3 seater and 2 seater sofa bed and ottomans. Also love lounger in front of fireplace. Flatscreen TV, CD/DVD player, satellite with movie package and iPod speakers provided. |

Welcome pack on arrival. All linen, bath and beach towels provided. Full clean on weekly basis. Pool cleaned daily. Garden watered and maintained daily. Extra cleaning, laundry and baby sitting can be arranged at an extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
Villa is fully air-conditioned. Gin & Tonic is a no smoking villa - please only smoke outside. The pool is not fenced and we would not recommend the villa is suitable for small children. You have the services of an English agent to assist.

Accessibility
There are 10 stairs to access the property and bedrooms are located upstairs and therefore not recommended for wheelchair users.
Outside
The large outdoor area offers grass and paved areas with large outdoor dining table and 6 chairs, BBQ, 4 sunloungers and tables and parasol. There is a shaded area for dining. The private pool and jacuzzi are infinity design. Perfect for watching the sailing boats pass on their afternoon return trip to the marina.
Coast/Beach
To the side of the villa, there are stairs going down to a platform providing entrance into the Mediterranean. Alternatively Kalkan beach is located to the left of the marina. Kaputas beach is approx 10 mins drive/Dolmus ride towards Kas. The famous Patara beach is 20 mins drive/Dolmus ride away and offers 11km of unspoilt coastline.
Special interest holidays
Scuba diving available within a few minutes walk with seven dive sites, including a shipwreck. Banana boat rides, floating trampoline and tyre rides available at local beach club.
Wellbeing centre offers private Turkish bath (option for the traditional experience!), facials, manicures, waxing, hairdressing, etc. Sailing available at the marina.
There are also some lovely walks where unusual birds and baby tortoises can be found. If you are a foodie, there are over 160 restaurants in Kalkan to entertain you with many set in the rooftops of the town.
Travel
There are charter and scheduled flights to Dalaman Airport from most UK airports during the summer season. Flight time is approx. 4 hours. Travel to the villa is about 90 minutes through some stunning scenery. We can arrange airport transfers in air-conditioned car/van for approx £50 each way, per vehicle. Local taxis and dolmus are cheap and plentiful for local travel into Kalkan or neighbouring towns. We can also assist with car hire from the airport or Kalkan.
Further details
Kalkan is one of Turkey's best kept secrets, nestling at the foot of the Taurus mountains with one of the prettiest bays on the Mediterranean coast. Once a tiny fishing village it is now a small, sophisticated resort which appeals to the discerning visitor. Its narrow cobbled streets wind down to the harbour and are lined with numerous interesting shops selling a variety of goods such as carpets, jewellery and local crafts. There are a multitude of excellent roof top and water side restaurants serving all manner of culinary delights including many local dishes. After your meal you can go for a stroll and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of Kalkan at night....perhaps do a little shopping and finish with a night cap at one of Kalkan's small bars. If you are feeling energetic there are lots of local sporting activities such as scuba diving, trekking and jet ski-ing etc. Perhaps take a trip to one of the many magnificent historical sites such as Xanthos, Tlos or Myra and Kekova....or maybe just relax by your own private pool. There is something for everyone in Kalkan!
Booking notes
Please check availability before enquiring. Red indicates the villa is booked. A deposit of 25% is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before departure. A loss and breakage deposit is required of £200 at time of final payment and is returnable within 2 weeks subject to no breakages or damage.
In the case of cancellation 8 weeks or more to departure a loss of deposit will apply, if cancellation is within 8 weeks of departure a sliding scale refund will apply.
