Each cottage has a separate area and the property is surrounded by gardens and a rustic stone wall. Gemiler beach is close by and local restaurants and markets are within walking distance. The Village is peaceful yet full of character and Turkish charm.

The open plan galley kitchen is small but fully equipped and designed with good use of space. A gas hob, toaster and kettle are provided as well as fridge/freezer. The lounge area has a single divan bed and small dining table, a good book collection and a small stereo. The bedroom is a good size with fireplace, built in cupboard, aircon and mosquito net. The bathroom is also a good size for a Cottage and is finished in beautiful blue tiles. There is stand alone sink, shower and toilet. Year round hot water is provided and all linen. |

Accessibility
Not suitable for those who would have a problem with steps up to property.
Outside
The swimming pool is a good sized plunge pool 3 x 2.5m and has stunning views over Kaya Valley. Pool area has seating for relaxing. Each Cottage has its own outdoor area and seating for dining and for comfort. There is a simple grill barbecue provided for each Cottage.
Coast/Beach
The famous 'Turquoise Coast' surrounds the area and refers to the beautiful beaches such a Gemiler, just 5km away through unspoilt pine forest. Oludeniz beach is 10km and is an iconic Turkish holiday location.
Travel
Dalaman airport is 50km away, 1 hour by private transfer. Car hire is recommended to view all the area has to offer, especially in the hotter summer months but is not necessary as the area is serviced by an easy, reliable minibus system.
Distances
The ruins of a greek community, 2000 houses - "The Ghost Town" is in the heart of the Village, 2km from the Cottages.
Gemiler Beach - 5km
Oludeniz Beach - 10km
Hisaronu Resort for banks and large supermarkets - 5km
Fethiye Town - 8km
Further details
Local restaurants within 2 mins walk provide local home-style Turkish cooking and hospitality. Local markets sell all the essentials and fruit and vegetables. Banks are in the next Village, 5km away and easily accessible by minibus or car.
Horseriding, paragliding, hiking and other activites are found in Kaya Village and surrounding area. The kaya Valley is a wonderful place for nature lovers and marked walk trails lead to beaches and historical sites. Kayakoy is now on the Lycian way, a famous trail from Fethiye to Antalya that passes ancient sites of the Lycia Federation and stunning secenery.
