Villa Akdemir is situated on a well maintained sitesi with superb views of the Aegean, harbour, marina and surrounding mountains. There is an onsite well maintained pool open May to October (please enquire for exact dates) and a small market shop next to the sitesi. The villa will comfortably sleep 8 people and has a garage and off road parking if needed. There are bars, restaurants, beach and a supermarket all within walking distance. The local dolmus (buses) run from 7am til midnight from the top of the sitesi the Soke/Izmir road and the bottom of the sitesi the main coast road into Kusadasi for a convenient way to get around the area.

Changeover day
No preferred changeover day but at least 2 days must be left between bookings to allow for cleaning etc.

Outside
There is a large terrace area with brick built barbecue. Outside table and chairs and plenty of space for outside dining and entertaining. The large onsite pool is well kept and great for relaxing and sunbathing.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is City beach about 20 mins walk. Other popular beaches are Ladies Beach a short bus ride also Kustur Beach. The beaches in and around Kusadasi are great for relaxing or for the more energetic water sports are available. There are many other beaches all with powdery white sand and crystal clear waters.
Golf
The Ephesus Golf complex is under construction and is due to open second half of 2009. More details to follow as and when available.
Travel
Izmir airport is approx 60 mins and Bodrum airport is approx 90 mins transfer time, transfers can be arranged. Car hire can be arranged if required, although a car is not essential as the local dolmus (bus) run all day to take you where you want to go

Distances
Ephesus is only 20 minutes (bus ride) or drive away and is well worth a visit. There are two large waterparks 10 mins by bus. The national park is approx 25 minutes. There are many places of interest in and around Kusadasi and we can help with any information you require.
Further details
There are numerous bars and restaurants in Kusadasi. We can personally recommend the Saray, Mezgit, Lezziet Evi and the Avlu. All offer good quality food at very reasonable prices. There is a Migros supermarket 10 minutes walk from villa. Banks are again only about 15-20 minute walk from villa.

Our family stayed at Villa Akdemir in August 2007.
It was easy to sort out the booking and there were no hick ups with our arrival at the villa. The agent did come round to see us and we had his number if there was any problems.
The accomodation was very clean and comfortable and being 3 floors there was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed along with a large fridge for the all important cold water! There was a lovely view from the upstairs balcony of Kusadasi and the port and lovely to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.
The Turkish neighbours were very friendly and we got by quite well dispite the little turkish we new!
It was only a short walk to a nearby supermarket for basic provisions and not much further to walk down into Kusadasi for the main shops. We did walk to town most nights for our meals and easily got taxis back. It was easy to get the bus if we needed to go to the waterparks or markets etc.
We enjoyed the large pool, It just needed sunbeds to make it perfect and perhaps a sunbed on the terrace would have been good.
Gail the owner was very helpful, we had a good week at the villa the weather was hot!! so the air con was great! We would book again and definately recommend it to our friends.

Booking notes
20% deposit payable when booking and balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If less than 6 weeks to arrival full amount payable on booking. £100 security deposit also to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival (or at time of booking if less than 6 weeks) which will be returned within 14 days of departure after checks have been made for damages.
