It is positioned approx. 5 minutes drive from Yalikavak and 3 minutes from the sea or just hop on a bus to Bodrum for that wonderful night life. Yalikavak itself has a lovely restaurant/cafe culture. Scuba diving, snorkling, windsurfing, fishing and sailing are well catered for locally.

The living room and bedrooms are air-conditioned and the 4th bedroom has a ceiling fan.
Outside
From the living area you enter onto a large marble patio around the private infinity swimming pool with a glass topped table and chairs and luxurious ratan sun loungers, leading onto the lawned garden with palm trees and lovely planted borders. The garden is very attractively lit for evening alfresco meals.
The swimming pool has lights for night time bathing. The kitchen and 3rd bedroom have their own patio area for that early cup of coffee.
Coast/Beach
The villa is (as the crow flies) approximately 100 metre to the sea. To drive to the nearest beach will take about 4 minutes.
In Yalikavak they have lovely beaches a short walk from the centre, where all the restaurants and cafes are.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 20 minute drive away.
Travel
To thoroughly enjoy your holiday and explore the surrounding area a car is recommended. The nearest airport - Bodrum - is approximately 40 minute drive. Our English speaking agent will meet you en-route to the villa and show you all around and give you the keys He has an office in Bodrum and is always on call if you need assistance.
Distances
Yalikavak is a mere 6 minute drive from the villa and Bodrum itself is about a 20 minute drive or you can pick up a local bus in Yalikavak which will take you to Bodrum and the surrounding villages on the Bodrum peninsular.
Further details
Yalikavak - originally a sponge diving village is situated on the North West of the Bodrum peninsular where old traditions sit comfortably alongside the more modern lifestyle. The town centre itself around the small harbour with a handsome 300 year old windmill to one side, restaurants line the sea front and in the streets running back from the sea, grocery shops and fruit and vegetable shops nestle alongside an art gallery housed in an old water cistern and a kilim showroom in a former olive oil press. On the coast road towards Gumusluk is a very smart new yacht marina and a little further on there is a great selection of fish restaurants. The main town beach is just a short walk from the centre.
The striking mosque with its two minarets stands on the hillside and watches over the village. Thursday is market day and villagers from nearby villages come to Yalikavak to stock up with fresh fruit and vegetables. There are numerous walks in the area, one of the best views must be from the small settlement of Geris perched at the top of a mountain and just a few kilometres from Yalikavak village centre, a local hike may find you stumbling on a derelict windmill, a deserted Greek village, Lycian rock tombs and even a temple dedicated to Zeus, a perfect picnic spot.
Booking notes
To reserve your desired holiday dates please call Jean Spencer (owner) who will confirm availability. The villa is then booked in your name and a deposit payment of 20% of the cost is due immediately (non refundable). Ten weeks prior to your holiday departure the remaining balance plus a refundable damages deposit of £200 is the due. On return from your holiday and given that the villa has no damage beyond reasonable wear & tear then the damages deposit is returned in full.
