Situated in a sought after quiet area of Karagozlar, there is a handy local (Dolmus) bus stop nearby with connections to the town centre and surrounding areas such as Hisaronu which is great especially at night and Olu Deniz for its fabulous sandy beach and its impressive 'Blue Lagoon'. Calis beach is also very popular with a nearby boat connection linking to it. Stunning views, a beautiful swimming pool and large, spacious quality apartment for holiday rental.

Notes on accommodation
Remote and thermostatically controlled air-conditioning units also provide heating and included in the rental terms. Pool area consists of a large sunny patio area featuring lovely views, with a plunge pool in the centre and comes with plenty of room for sun bathing. Property has direct access to pool via its own steps or via the side entrance of the property. The property has private gate access and an electronic operated external front door, this can be opened via intercom from inside the apartment or by key externally. There is a child safety gate leading between the lounge terrace and the pool, however some responsible parenting would be recommended.

Accessibility
There may be some restrictions as this is a duplex apartment set on two floors. Access to the apartment from the road side and inside does involve a few steps.
Outside
Outdoor swimming pool is shared between only 4 apartments, with only one other holiday rental apartment. The pool is fully maintained by a local contractor. There is a large sun deck patio with (4 private apartment sun beds). The private terrace off the lounge offers seating for 8, a dining table and a large (free to use) gas barbecue. The apartment has separate safety crockery for terrace dining/drinks (The swimming pool is available from May to October).
Coast/Beach
The most famous and beautiful beach has to be nearby Olu Deniz with its in-let, 'The Blue Lagoon'. This wide sweeping sandy beach is breathtaking from a distance. The beach is clean and the water is fabulous especially in the lagoon area. There a few beach bars, limited beach toilets and lots of safe bathing. Olu Deniz is the beach featured in most of the travel brochures showing Turkey. The other popular beach is a short water taxi ride across the bay from Fethiye at Calis.
Travel
Fly into Dalaman Airport and Fethiye is only 45 kilometers from the airport, a 30-40 minute drive. Transfers to and from Dalaman airport to the apartment can be arranged and currently cost £32 each way based on up to 4 persons sharing. Larger groups who wish to travel together can be catered for on request.
Distances
Karagozlar waterfront = (1 min) walking, 150m. Fethiye town centre, (10-15 mins) walking, approx 1km. Fethiye waterfront (10 mins) walking, 1km. Olu Deniz beach, (15-20) mins, cheap bus or taxi, approx 8/10km. Hisaronu/Ovacik (10) mins, cheap bus or taxi, approx 5/8km.
Further details
Fethiye is the major market town of the area, the full market day is Tuesday. In the town centre of Fethiye there are excellent bank, bureau de change, post office, chemist, craft shops, restaurants, cafe's, bars and a couple of good supermarkets. Many of the local shops in Karagozlar do deliver goods to the apartment (this may be a little more expensive than going into Fethiye at the supermarket) but think of the ease - after all you are on holiday!
Booking notes
Weekly rates are based on 4/6 people. Property can cater maximum of 8 people with large double sofa bed and a baby cot, also available. Additional per person prices are £50 per person per week July to September and £30 per person a week at all other times. These rates are for 2007 and include the use of aircon and safe if required. Method of payment preferred is PayPal/Cheque or bank transfer (BACs). Keys released only after check cleared. A £75 deposit for apartment per week.
