Villa Yildiz is a beautifully renovated, traditional Turkish house full of character, set on a hillside overlooking the bay of Hisaronu. Set in a peaceful location in area of outstanding natural beauty, Villa Yildiz is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday at any time of year. Hisaronu Koy is an idyllic village with friendly locals, a weekly market where you can locally grown fruit, vegetables and more, a village barber (a definite experience) a number of small convenience stores for the essentials and a couple of very good and reasonably priced restaurants. Marmaris is just 20 minutes by car, close enough to enjoy the facilities (which include excellent shopping, marina, restaurants, beach, water parks) but far enough away to escape it all when you want to relax. A local bus is also available for trips into Marmaris or the nearby resorts of Icmeler and Turunc. The beach is approx 1.5km (visible from the house) and the centre of the village is a 10 minute walk away.

Notes on accommodation
New for 2007 - solar power and 300 litre water tank for continuous supply should the village water supply temporrarily go off. Plus, water purification system holding 20 litres of water that's drinkable straight from the tap, with fewer impurities than bottled water.

Unsuitable for wheelchair users due to poor quality roads and steep hill up to property.

Coast/Beach
There are 2 beaches close to the house, the nearest is viewable from Villa Yildiz and just 1.5km away. There are numerous other beaches within 10 - 45 minutes drive, with Marmaris and Icmeler less than half an hour's drive.
Special interest holidays
There are lots of activities available in the area. For more active guests we can arrange a variety of sports and excursions through our partner the Hisar Country Club. Activities available through the country club include horse riding, climbing wall, mountain bike tours, sailing and kayaking. Jeep safaris are a popular activity and take tours through the local villages. Archaeological ruins, hills and long stretches of coastline make the area very popular with everyone form trekkers to artists.
Travel
Nearest ferry port, Marmaris (to Rhodes). Nearest airport, Dalaman approx 115km away. Car recommended. Car hire can be arranged for you at additional cost. Local bus service available. Airport transfers also available.

10 mins walk to Hisaronu village centre.
20 mins drive to Marmaris.
20-30 mins drive to Icmeler.
1¼ hour to Dalaman (airport).

Other places nearby include Orhaniye with its beautiful modern marina and sand spit where people from miles around to 'walk on water', Turgut - famous for traditional handmade carpets and Bozburun, a beautiful harbour approx 1 hour's drive away.
