'Artemisia Apartments' Guest Room

Bedroom with large double bed and 2 single beds, colour TV, air conditioning unit, hairdryer, minibar, balcony with views of either the pool or mountains, with en suite shower and wc. En suite bathroom with shower, vanity wash basin, shaver point and wc. Lounge area offers a sofa and chairs and colour TV. There are stunning mountain views from the apartment, with a balcony and small patio set.

Notes on accommodation
All guests are offered free breakfast and evening meals at the resort hotel's open buffet. Lunchtime snacks can be purchased around the excellent Artemisia pool area.
Any laundry items required can be organised through the resort reception. All daily cleaning is included and all linen and towels changed twice a week.
The guest room offers remote controlled air conditioning and heating. It is suitable for children, in fact your children will be well catered for at the Artemisia Royal Park Resort hotel which provides early evening childrens shows as well as shows for the adults a little later on.

Outside
Artemisia Apartment is part of Artemisia Royal Park Resort with its large pristine communal pool which features an aqua slide and various pool games and a screened children's section. There are large sun terraces with beautiful views and quiet relaxing areas in the attractive gardens. The poolside bar serves drinks and snacks all day, whilst the restaurant offers traditional Turkish and English cuisine.

Coast/Beach
The most famous and beautiful beach has to be at nearby Olu Deniz with its famous inlet, "The Blue Lagoon". This wide sweeping sandy, in parts sand/shingle beach is breathtaking from a distance. The beach is clean and the water quality is excellent for safe bathing. Olu Deniz is the beach featured in most of the travel brochures and being their front page of Turkey. To the rear of the beach there are many bars and restaurants at which to enjoy lunch.

Special interest holidays
There are various local special interest activities which include cycling, fishing, tennis, waterskiing, swimming, walking, windsurfing, mountaineering, tandem paragliding, microlite flights and whitewater rafting. There is also a nearby waterpark and various watersports.

Travel
The International Airport at Dalaman is only 45 mins from our apartment. The local "Dolmus" bus service is excellent and cheap, there is a stop nearby. You just find a bus stop and hold up arm and they stop. It is great fun - hold on tight! They run all day and again it's great fun, try it if only once. Taxis are also quite cheap, like everywhere they get more expensive in the evenings when late.

Distances
The lively resort of Hisaronu is a 15-20 minute walk away, or a cheap taxi ride of 5 minutes. Fethiye, the local market town, is only 5-10 minutes away, Olu Deniz beach is only 5-10 minutes away and the resort provides a free courtesy bus service in the morning, returning in the afternoon.

Further details

There a few beach bars, limited beach toilets and lots of safe bathing. Olu Deniz is the beach featured in most of the travel brochures showing Turkey. At the rear of the beach there are many bars and restaurants. There is a thriving tandem paragliding scene in and around this area where most flights throw themselves off the surrounding mountains and land just off the beach area, so keep your eyes peeled on certain parts of the beach.
The nearby beach at Calis is a little further away the otherside of Fethiye is also nice and well worth a visit.
The lively resort of Hisaronu is a 15-20 minute walk away, or a cheap taxi ride of 5 minutes. There are loads of shops selling all holiday bargains especially cheap designer type labled clothing, there are countless bars, quite a number of nightclubs and lots of different nationality restaurants. Hisaronu is very safe and you will feel comfortable at what ever time. The nearby market town of Fethiye with its colourful waterfront and marina offer some excellent shopping and superb restaurants. Don't miss the opportunity to see the 12 Islands of Fethiye Bay on-board one of the many boat cruisers with time for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.

There are scores of holiday activities including tandem paragliding, microlight flights, diving, fishing, whitewater rafting and jeep safaris. There are also many local sightseeing excursions which can be booked through the resort reception.

A deposit of £100 per apartment, paid by credit card secures the apartments availability with the balance payment payable in sterling £s at the resort reception.
