Bedrooms: The master bedroom suite has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and 2 bedside tables
Bedroom 2 is twin-bedded and similarly equipped.
Both have direct access to private enclosed terraces and to shared pool and sun terraces.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom with WC, walk in power shower, wash basin, mirror with lighting and shaver socket.
Kitchen: The modern kitchen, featuring granite worktops, is fully equipped with stainless steel hob, oven, extractor fan, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a kettle, toaster, juicer, iron/ironing board and ample supply of crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Living Rooms: The open plan lounge diner features large comfortable sofas, marble coffee table, LCD TV with satellite inc many English channels, CD & DVD player. Direct access to swimming pool & terraces. The dining area features a mosaic marble dining table & chairs.
Other: The Cennet apartment provides ample storage throughout. The lovely stone mosaic floors continue out onto the private terraces with, of course, great sea views. A limestone archway leading to the bathroom and bedrooms is featured in the living area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment's on site cleaning staff empty bins daily and provide a mid-week clean and linen change. Please bring your own beach towels. An iron and ironing board are provided.

 

Notes on accommodation
The fully air-conditioned Cennet apartment is finished to an exceptionally high standard and provides all that guests would expect of a luxury property. The Apartment's management are based on site providing a 24 hour point of contact for the convenience and peace of mind of guests. An English speaking 'meet and greet' service will welcome you and will continue to provide an on-site point of contact and some initial provisions are provided on arrival in a welcome pack. An information file is provided to offer guests full details about the apartment's appliances, in addition to a general guide about Kalkan’s restaurants, supermarkets and the wider region.
Out of season, the air-conditioning units will heat as well as cool. An electric boiler provides continuous hot water. We will happily answer any further questions both before and after booking and are happy to assist with flight bookings and arranging transfers from Dalaman.

Outside
Cennet is a ground floor, poolside apartment, sharing a large pool and attractive sun terraces with only two other apartments. The apartment's private patio features its own table and 4 chairs from which to enjoy a light lunch or a sundowner with views over the Mediterranean. Around the beautiful pool area, which benefits from all day sunshine, there are ample, comfortable sun loungers and parasols provided, as well as inflatables for fun in the pool.
The surrounding communal gardens are beautifully maintained and feature well tended cascading bougainvillea, banana trees and hibiscus.

Coast/Beach
Kalkan's beach and harbour are a 2 minute stroll away with a beach club and diving platforms on the seaward side of the harbour's breakwater. The idyllic Kaputas beach is 10 mins away by car, taxi, dolmus. Free transport to beach clubs across the bay is available from the harbour. Patara Beach, which boasts 18km of golden sand, is only 25mins away by car, taxi or dolmus. The larger port of Kas is easily reached by a 30 minute dolmus ride along the spectacular Turquoise Coastline.

Travel
The brand new airport at Dalaman was completed in 2006 and provides a modern efficient gateway to Turkey's south western Mediterranean coast. Flight time from the UK is approximately 4hrs and the route is served by many charter and scheduled airlines. Transfer from Dalaman takes about 90 minutes and we will be happy to arrange this for you if you wish. Car hire is readily available but not essential as there is a regular dolmus service to places of interest. There is a also a car park.

Distances
Within easy reach of Kalkan are the ruins of the ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos, it's port Patara, religious centre Letoon, and Pinara. Today a mixture of ruins from Roman, Lycian and Byzantine times can be seen. Fethiye and Olu Deniz are approx 45mins away by car and Saklikent Gorge and the harbour town of Kas are less than 30 mins away.

Further details
Kalkan is a sophisticated holiday destination offering the best restaurants on the Turkish coast with menus to suit all tastes and pockets. These can be found along the waterfront or in Kalkan's quaint, narrow, winding streets. Many are roof terraces with stunning views over the bay. The shops offer a wide variety of merchandise, and the supermarkets stock a good range of provisions and offer free delivery for both you and your purchases. The weekly Thursday market provides a very entertaining brush with Turkish culture as well as the opportunity to barter for a bargain or purchase local produce. Kalkan has four banks with ATM machines and a Post Office.

Booking notes
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure booking. The balance is payable 12 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable damage/breakages deposit is also required 12 weeks prior to arrival. This will be returned on clearance by local agent, approx 1 week after departure.
