Accessibility
There are steps to the side of the house from the garage port to the main part of the villa.
Outside
Well established garden with many colourful pots of flowers. A large BBQ is provided. There are 6 sun loungers, tables and parasols. A large table and 6 chairs are provided for alfresco dining. The pool is private for guests use only. Children are welcome but please bear in mind that the pool is not sectioned off and it is over 5ft deep at the shallow end and over 6ft deep at the deep end.
Coast/Beach
It is approx 10 mins walk to the town of Kalkan where there are numerous excellent restaurants and bars. There is a harbour and a small beach which is perfect for swimming. Guest have the full use of the Samira hotel/apartments situated just 2 mins walk from the villa which boasts the largest swimming pool in Kalkan with children’s area including pool table etc. There is a bar and restaurant situated in the pool area of the hotel.
Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport and is approx 1½ hour drive from the villa. Transfers can be arranged if required. Car hire is not essential but is advised if guests wish to visit the many interesting archaeological sites around the area. Dolmus buses are available but it is always more convenient to visit other beaches and towns or villages in the mountains with your own transport. Car hire can be arranged if required.
Distances
Kas is a pretty harbour situated approx 30 min drive from Kalkan and is well worth a visit. Patara beach is a beautiful white sand beach which extends for miles, perfect for swimming with refreshment facilities; it is situated approx 20 min drive from Kalkan. The nearest large town is Fethiye with a wonderful harbour, restaurants and shops. It is approx 1 hour drive from Kalkan but well worth seeing and incorporating a visit to the 'deserted village'.

A comprehensive folder can be found in the villa detailing all the places of local interest and information on local supermarkets and banks etc. This folder also includes information on all the appliances and helpful hints to help you settle in and enjoy your holiday in the villa more quickly. A welcome pack will be provided to ensure you have basic food, milk, water, bread, butter, jam, eggs, etc for your arrival. There are numerous beach clubs to visit each with restaurant, bar and various water activities. One thing that is a 'must do' is canoeing down the Xanthos river, great fun with a lovely BBQ at the end. Paragliding in nearby Kas for the very brave and horse riding along Patara beach.
Booking notes
A deposit of 100GBP is required to confirm all reservations. The balance must be received in full 4 weeks prior to commencement of holiday. Reservations can start and finish on any day of the week with consideration to prior bookings given. Smoking is not permitted in the villa and should be confined to the balconies and outside patio areas. Damage to the villa will be the responsibility of the guests.

We stayed in this lovely villa in 2005 and 2006, we had a fabulous time, the pool is wonderful with fantastic views from the terrace and we hope to visit again in 2008. Margaret and Dave Baker.
We have just come back from holiday in this lovely villa, had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool. Swimming in the clear sea at Kalamar beach club was excellent. Sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down was lovely before visiting one of the numerous restauranats to eat. The people were so friendly. Will be going back next year. Janet and Gary Robinson.
