It is ideally situated for holiday and vacation rentals in Altinkum being just a short distance from the sea/beach. There are restaurants and bars within a 5 minutes walk of the apartment and if you wish to be in the hustle and bustle of the nightlife you will find more restaurants, bars and discos within a further 5-minute walk on and past the main beach. There is use of the swimming pool at the Meryemana Hotel close by. This two bedroom duplex has everything needed for a great self-catering holiday.

Bathroom on each floor containing shower, basin, wc, glass shelf, mirror and towel rail.
There is also a hairdryer in the upstairs room. |

Fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge freezer, oven/hob, extractor fan, kettle, toaster, crockery, utensils washing machine and iron/Ironing board, clothes airer. Table, 4 chairs suitable for indoor or outdoor. The balcony is ideal for breakfast. |
| Living Rooms: |
Spacious lounge which opens out through large French windows onto the sun terrace. There are two very comfortable large sofas (both convert into double beds) a coffee table, radio/CD, televison for use only with DVD player and air-conditioning. |

There is a sweeping marble staircase which leads to the spacious 2nd floor landing. Large private sun terrace has the sun all day, ideal for sun bathing or watching the sun set with glass of wine there are 2 sun loungers, small table, umbrella and base. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Internal towels and bed linen (new) are provided. Guests are asked to bring their own towels for outside use. There is a bucket and spade for use of guests.
Cleaning takes place after each stay but can be arranged during your stay at an extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
The duplex is a private apartment in a block of 9, situated in a quiet residential area of Altinkum it has an exterior security door, door intercom system, mosquito nets on all windows and is air-conditioned. There are solar water heating panels. The TV is for use with the DVD player, a selection of DVDs are provided. The duplex is both suitable for couples wishing a secluded retreat and/or a family wanting to be close to the beach/sea and amenities but also having space for the children to play in.

Accessibility
The duplex is situated on 3rd and top floor, it is reached by stairs.
Outside
There is use of the swimming pool at the Meryemana Hotel close by.
The kitchen has it's own balcony with sea view which receives the sun first thing in the morning making it an ideal place to eat breakfast.
On the top floor is a large private sun terrace with sea view that is not overlooked there are 2 cushioned sun loungers and umbrella and base and also electric light.
Coast/Beach
There are 3 superb beaches that are crystal clear and have golden sand that are child friendly and offer excellent water sports and scuba diving. Various boat trips are available from the harbour which is just a short walk from the main beach area.
The main beach situated at Dolphin Square is just 5 mins walk from the apartment.
Travel
Bodrum airport is approximately 1¼ hours away and Izmir airport approximately 1¾ hours. Airport transfers can be arranged via the owner.
A car isn’t needed in Altinkum - the local bus (dolmus) is approximately 40p and a taxi approximately £5 to anywhere in Altinkum.
Distances
Local attractions include Ephesus - famous ruined Roman city(2 hours by car), Pamukkale - incredible natural salt baths (3 hours), Bodrum - busy market town (90 mins), Izmir - Turkey's third city (2 hours), Soke - market and retail outlet shopping (50 mins), Kusadasi - buzzing resort and water parks(1 hour), Didim Aquapark (30 mins). Dalyan - Turtle Beach (3.30hours). Bafa Lake and National Park (1 hour)
Further details
There is a small shop a few minutes walk where you can get fresh bread, drinks etc and at least 3 good supermarkets a short bus ride away.
Great restaurants are everywhere, friendly, good value and the food is great! cafés and bars, excellent shopping, vibrant markets and friendly faces make up this lovely town. There are plenty of activities for both young and old in Altinkum and the surrounding area. The Saturday market is a must for great clothes, leather goods and superb fresh produce.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit of total tariff plus completed and signed booking form is required to secure reservation, with the balance plus a £50 refundable security deposit to be paid 10 weeks prior to arrival. Reservations within the 10 week period must be paid in full at the time of booking
