Our villa situated at end of private road in the peaceful, sought after area of Kalamar with access through a private security gate. It has stunning uninterrupted sea views from all rooms and pool area - not just from the roof terrace! The villa is very secluded and private as on one side is the olive clad mountain side, on the other is a house which is divided from us by a traditional stone wall and there is nothing in front - just sea views! Our villa is on 3 floors and all bedrooms have en suite dressing rooms, bathrooms or showers and balconies with unrivalled and uninterrupted sea and mountain views. There is also a large downstairs wet room and shower. The private infinity pool is surround by large wooden decked terraces with built in barbeque, comfortable loungers and glass table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. The villa is only a few meters walk to the sea and beach club and an easy walk to the pretty village of Kalkan. We also have a private garage. Non estate location.

Changeover day
We are flexible regarding changeover days but request that our guests vacate the villa by 11am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Kasarini villa has 3 double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms or shower rooms, dressing rooms and balconies with sea views. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and one has a double bed. They are all beautifully furnished and have wooden floor boards. |
| Bathrooms: | There is a fully tiled wet room with shower on the ground floor. The twin bedded middle floor bedroom has an en suite shower room, the middle floor double bedded room has an en suite bathroom and the top floor twin bedded room has an en suite bathroom. |
| Kitchen: | The smart kitchen is fully equipped with built in electric oven with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and and plenty of cupboards with all necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, food blender, sandwich maker etc. |
| Utility Room: | There is a separate utility room with washing machine, clothes airier, ironing board, iron etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The spacious living area has comfortable sofas and chairs, glass coffee table, local paintings and Turkish rugs. There is a flat screen satellite TV with DVD and CD player. The dining area has a glass and wrought iron dining table and matching chairs. |
| Other: | The top floor is very spacious with wide hallways and a lovely roof terrace with Ottoman seating and fantastic 100% sea and mountain views - a wonderful place to relax while watching the sun set. The villa also has air conditioning/heating in every room. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen and towels are provided and changed once a week (sorry beach towels are not provided) and weekly clean is included. |
Notes on accommodation
Our villa provides the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. Whether you are a family, a couple or a group of friends, it will be perfect for you.
The villa is in an elevated position with steps leading up from a covered area next to the private garage. There are security gates at the bottom and top of the stairs. The pool is not fenced and small children should be watched at all times.
There is air conditioning and central heating in all rooms and hair dryers, mosquito nets anti insect plugs in all bedrooms. There is also a safe provided for your valuables and a local mobile for your use while staying at the villa.
A complimentary 'welcome pack' is supplied and an 'information file' including recommended places of interest to visit, best restaurants, emergency telephone numbers, and general information about your stay.
We do advise hiring a car to make the most of visiting all the sites and places of interest close by.
Accessibility
Unfortunately Kasarini Villa is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users.
Outside
The villa has a private 7.5m x 3.5m and 1.4m deep overall overflow swimming pool. There are a very spacious wooden decked terraces with a wrought iron and glass dining table and chairs to enjoy alfresco meals around the built in barbeque. There are also plenty of comfortable wooden loungers with cushions and large umbrellas.
To the right of the villa is olive clad mountainside. Our villa is completely private and is surrounded by bouganvillia creepers and lush exotic plants. There is only one villa next door and that is separated by a high fence and are no buildings in front, ensuring total sea views from the pool area and all rooms.
Coast/Beach
The Kalamar beach club where you can swim and goggle in the clear blue sea is less than a 5 minute walk from the villa and most water sports are available here. The nearest beach in Kalkan is approx. 5 minute drive or 15 - 20 minute walk away. This is a pretty little pebbly beach where umbrellas and loungers can be hired. The nearest sandy beach is Kaputas beach which is about 6km from the villa and the famous long sandy Patara beach is about 20km away.
Travel
Charter and scheduled flights fly direct to Dalaman Airport from most UK airports during the season and the flight time is about 4 hours.
Travel time to Kasarini Villa from Dalaman airport takes about 1.5 hours through some stunning scenery. We can arrange transport from the airport to the villa in an air conditioned car for about £45 each way or in a mini bus for about £55 each way. We can also arrange car hire at excellent rates but remember taxis and local dolmus are plentiful and cheap!
Distances
There are many places of interest to visit nearby such as the ruins of Xanthos, Thios, Myra, the river gorge at Saklikent and the famous 12 miles of beautiful sandy beach at Patara which was recently voted one of the best beaches in the world by The Sunday Times! Horse riding is available on this beach and there are also many interesting ruins at Patara. Kas and Fethiye are small interesting harbour towns to explore. Kas is about a 30 minutes drive away and Fethiye about an hour away

Kalamar beach club is less than a 5 minute walk from Kasarini Villa and most water sports are available here such as diving, sailing, canoeing, goggling, jet skiing, swimming or just relaxing by the sea in a lounger! There is a small restaurant serving drinks, snacks and delicious meals.
Kalkan has long been considered to be the prettiest village on the Turkish coast. This charming village is an easy walk from the villa and here you will find winding, cobbled streets, white washed Ottoman houses with balconies trailing with bougainvillea. There are enticing gift shops selling among other items, hand made glass ware, jewellery, leather ware and designer clothes. Kalkan is also renowned for the vast choice of superb restaurants which are situated on the rooftops or down by the pretty harbour, serving both Turkish and international food at reasonable prices. There are many Gulets down by the harbour which can be hired for the day or more and from where you will visit beautiful coves along the Turquoise coast and a delicious meals will be served. There is also a weekly market in Kalkan selling everything from local farm produce to 'designer' clothes.
There are several small supermarkets, selling almost all items that are available in the UK and two banks with ATM machines. There are also several chemists and several internet cafes. All the shops stay open until about midnight every day and the supermarkets will always provide free transport home.
The medical services are excellent and inexpensive. There is a small hospital in Kalkan and a larger one in Fethiye and two good dentists on the Kalamar road.
There are many activities available such as walking the lycian way (next to our villa), fishing, diving, water sports, para-sailing, water rafting, canoeing over ancient sunken cities, horse riding on Patara beach, jet skiing, sailing around the coast, visiting trout farms in the hills where there are some excellent restaurants.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is due on confirming the booking of the villa and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. There is a refundable damage deposit payable with the final deposit and this will be re funded within 2 weeks of your return less any breakages or damage.
There is someone who speaks English available throughout your stay to help you with any problems or queries that you may have. The pool and garden are maintained daily. A welcome pack is provided.
