Kalamar Bay is a peaceful, picturesque village, just around the corner from Kalkan. It's a 10-minute walk from the villa to the sea and the popular Kalamar Beach Club, with sailing, scuba-diving, water-skiing and a friendly restaurant with beautiful views. High House has a very spacious, open-plan living area with an infinity pool overlooking Kalamar Bay. The bedrooms all have air conditioning and ceiling fans and the house has central heating for out-of-season use. Downstairs bedroom 6 can also be used as a study and has a built-in safe inside the wardrobe. There is cool, marble flooring throughout.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
We will happily discuss special prices for long winter lets and small groups. Prices for Spring are by special arrangement, depending on completion of winter maintenance and local building projects. High House is still available in November (N.B. heated pool!) Email me for a very special price!
Changeover day
Changeover days are usually Monday or Friday, but we are happy to consider other days if we have the availability.

| Living Rooms: | Open plan, split-level, spacious living area, with satellite TV, DVD, CD player, ipod dock and plenty of games and books. Double doors open on to the pool terrace and gardens and look out to the Mediterranean beyond. Open fireplace. |
| Other: | The roof terrace with traditional Turkish kosk seating area and stargazer telescope is a beautiful place to sit and watch the sun set over Kalamar Bay. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included and are changed twice a week, when the house is cleaned throughout. The pool and sun terraces are maintained on a daily basis and refuse is taken away each day. Fresh bread can be delivered every morning. |
Notes on accommodation
With marble flooring inside and out and a pool that is 1.5m in the shallow end, families with very small children need to take great care. High chairs and cots can be provided if required.
There is a small garage, which is ideal for keeping hire cars out of the sun.

Accessibility
At the entrance to High House there are about 25 steps up from the road.
Outside
The private, infinity pool is approximately 10m long and for late season lets (Oct/Nov) the pool is heated. The terraced gardens offer plenty of shade from the mid-day sun. There are sun beds, parasols and a covered lounging area for children. There is an external shower, built-in BBQ and table tennis. The shaded dining terrace has really comfortable seating for up to 12.
Coast/Beach
Kalamar Beach Club is a 10 minute stroll from High House. It's a wonderful place to relax or play, with plenty of sunbeds on the terraces, a friendly restaurant with excellent food and lots of water activities to enjoy. There is internet access from the beach club for those who can't leave work behind.
The nearest sandy beach is at Patara, which is about a 20min drive from Kalamar Bay.
Travel
Kalkan is approx one and a half hours away from Dalaman airport. The roads keep on improving every year and soon the journey will be done in just over an hour. Transfers can be arranged by car or mini bus. A hire car is not essential, but there are no shops in Kalamar Bay. Taxis will come from Kalkan to pick you up and some of the supermarkets offer a home delivery service.
Distances
Kalamar Bay is a lovely, tranquil place, away from all the traffic noise and is ideal for people who are looking for a quiet place to stay. There are no shops here, but the few, up-market hotels on this bay offer all their facilities to non-residents, so you are never far from a lovely restaurant or Turkish Bath. It's a 20-minute walk into Kalkan and all the shops, restaurants and bars it has to offer.
Further details
The nearest mini supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. This is good for basics and they will happily deliver you and your shopping back to High House.
Booking notes
A 25%, non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking, with the full balance due 6 weeks before departure. We also require a £200 deposit for breakages and this will be returned one week after your departure.
