Villa Oya and Villa Ata are two detached villas set amongst the olive trees and tangerine groves of the idyllic Bodrum Peninsula, some 15 kilometres from Bodrum itself and 2 kilometres from the picturesque fishing village of Gumusluk. The villas are situated in the Gumusluk Valley, in quiet and beautiful countryside, on the edge of a rural hamlet. The Aegean Sea sparkles in the distance. The villas are built to a high standard and with all modern comforts. Both have private pools and gardens. Villa Oya sleeps up to 6, and Villa Ata up to 8. They are perfect for families, couples or groups. The villas are adjacent to each other so for larger groups or two families holidaying together, both villas can be booked. They are well-furnished throughout with spacious living areas, terraces and balconies providing views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and sea. The villas overlook fields and olive, tangerine and lemon groves.

Notes on accommodation
The villas have a slightly elevated position which ensures that even on the hottest of days they benefit from gentle and cooling breezes. Add this to wonderful sunsets and starry skies and you have a tranquil and picturesque setting, perfect for a relaxing and carefree holiday.

Outside
Both villas have private gardens, well stocked with plants, shrubs and fruit trees. We also have comfortable garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecues.
Both villas have private pools approximately 8 metres x 4 metres. The pools are 1.5 metres deep, with sunbathing areas.
Children’s paddling pool and pool toys available.
Basement storage area for water sports equipment etc.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Gumusluk (2 km) – a real gem - the prettiest and most unspoilt village on the Bodrum Peninsula. The village is famous for its fish and seafood restaurants, and glorious sunsets. The whitewashed houses are bedecked with flowers - some were originally storehouses for the mandarins and lemons produced locally. Rabbit Island is a short paddle away, and the village has a beach with stunning views. There are numerous other beaches on the peninsula.
Travel
The villas are located about 55 kilometres from Bodrum Airport. The drive takes 50 minutes or so, and is very scenic and a wonderful introduction to Turkey. It includes a long stretch along the coast, stunning views of Bodrum and the Crusader castle and finally glimpses of a bygone Turkey as you climb the hills that form the spine of the peninsula and make your way towards Gumusluk.

Further details
The local regular bus service (dolmus) stops 5 minutes walk away from the villas. This gives easy access to Bodrum and the rest of the peninsula. The villas have private car parking spaces. We would recommend that you hire a car in order to experience all that the area has to offer. However, if you simply want to relax around the villa and pool, with occasional trips to Gumusluk, Bodrum and elsewhere, then the dolmus (and perhaps a taxi from time to time) will be all that you need. The villas are situated about 15km from Bodrum, and about 2km from the restaurants and beach at Gumusluk. The traditional Turkish village itself is a little way inland, about a 15 minute walk from the villas. Fresh bread, groceries and other essentials are easily obtained less than a 5 minute walk away. The nearest supermarket is at Turgetreis, about 8 kilometres further along the coast.

A deposit of 25% of the total rental cost is required to secure your booking. The balance of the rental cost must be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
Security deposit - £200 - payable at the time of paying the balance.
