Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible. Guests may arrive after 4 pm on the day of arrival and the property must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure to allow cleaning for incoming guests, unless by prior arrangement.

Towels and linen included. Housekeeping service by arrangement. Fresh linen on arrival and weekly bed change. Poolside towels provided but please bring your own beach towels. For 2 week lets there will be a linen change each week. |

Notes on accommodation
Fully fitted Kitchen with new work area, sink and overhead cupboards. Young children not encouraged due to gradient of the land and steps. Pool shallow end is 1.12m. Indoors is a strictly No Smoking and No Candles zone (no tea-lights etc). Hairdryer provided. Car recommended, however we provide useful contacts at time of booking. Good levels of security provided for the premises.
Accessibility
The villa is ideally suited for able-bodied people. Due to the topography, not suitable for persons with mobility problems. Private parking area.
Outside
Extensive multi-level garden with terraces, with viewing platform at top of garden. Wide variety of mature fruit trees and exotic plants. Pick your own fruit in season ! Panoramic views in every direction. Garden furniture, tables, chairs, recliners and parasol. Barbecue area. Private & secluded oval-shaped Swimming Pool 8m x 5m. Depths 1.12m (near house) to 1.83 m (far end). Pool available end April to October (closed November to March). Our gardener will call frequently and also maintain the pool daily. Our local agent is always on hand to help if required. Garden herbs near house - if you can recognise them!
Coast/Beach
Inlice Plaj (cove beach with shingle and volcanic sand) is 9 mins drive from the villa. Recommended local beaches within easy drive include: Gunluklu Beach (10 min) set in a natural conservation area with pine forest and liquid amber trees (gunluk). Katrance Beach (14 min) offers some sand and recreational facitilities. Karaot Beach (20 min) has the delightful Starfish Bar. All offer beautiful views.

Travel
Dalaman airport is 25 min drive via Gocek Tunnel (toll fee currently 2.5 YTL). Airport transfer available if required. Car hire is essential. Vehicle can be arranged and delivered to Dalaman Int. Airport Arrivals OR to the Villa itself as requested. We particularly recommend airport minibus transfers for night time arrivals/departures and first time visitors. Full directions are supplied.
Distances
Gocek 10 mins drive, Fethiye 25 mins drive, Olu Deniz 40 mins drive, Lake Koycegis 45 mins. The villa is strategically placed to allow good access to many places of local interest such as Saklikent Gorge or Dalyan. For more details please see personal website link below.
Further details
Gocek provides nearby sailing facilities and charter boat trips to the nearby Twelve Islands, as well as seafood and other restaurants. It is a quiet, sophisticated resort with shops, cafes, supermarkets and a Sunday market. Winters here are mild and offer opportunities for sightseeing and general exploration. Visit Dalyan famous for its Turtle Beach, mud baths and historic Kaunos, also Saklikent Gorge, Tlos, Xanthos and lake Koycegis are easily accessible. We are great lovers of nature and outdoor living. We enjoy life's simple things - just potting around the garden or sitting in the pool, enjoying the mountain pine-scented air and admiring the wonderful views. Gocek is nearby for evening meals out or afternoon tea and socialising. Inlice Plaj - the local beach is only a short drive away.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We enjoy the rural lifestyle and yet we are in close proximity to the sea. Its easy to reach Dalaman Airport (22km), especially since the opening of Gocek Tunnel in 2006. Its a quiet location so ideal for those wanting a peaceful holiday.
Unique benefits of the property
You have some lovely views, use of a well-laid out villa, complete privacy and good parking facilities. The garden hilltop offers additional panoramas of the locality for those wishing to climb to the very top of the garden. However there is something for everyone at the villa. You feel that you are many miles deep inside rural Turkey and yet you are only a short drive away from shops and restaurants and of course the beaches.
