Luxury 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa with private pool constant depth 1.45, length 5m, in the beautiful picturesque, peaceful location of Kalamar Bay. All rooms are air-conditioned and have cool marble flooring. The property briefly comprises of a lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and utility room on the ground floor. On the 1st floor there are 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have sea views and balconies. 2nd floor also has 2 bedrooms, 1 double (Master) en-suite with Jacuzzi bath. Spacious balcony and amazing sea view. There is also a twin bedroom with balcony. 3rd Floor, single bedroom and roof terrace with shaded pergola and Turkish ottoman seating area (ideal for watching the sunset or pre-dinner drinks). Arrangements can be made for fresh bread and milk to be delivered each morning. Our local managing agents speak English. Walled gardens surround the villa.

Notes on accommodation
A welcome pack is provided. Wireless Internet. An information booklet with emergency numbers is provided. You will have contact details of our local managing agent. The villa has a telephone so you can book a taxi or make a reservation at your favourite restaurant. We can arrange both transfers and car hire. Smoking is not permitted in the villa. Please note: the pool does not have a shallow end (it is constant 1.45 metres deep). The tiles surrounding the pool area may get slippery when wet and care should be taken, particularly by those with younger children. Small children would need supervision at all times.

Outside
Private pool 5m in length with a constant depth of 1.45m. For sole use of residents. 8 x pool sunloungers with cushions and three parasols. Outdoor poolside barbecue, a second larger barbecue in the pergola area along with marble dining table with eight seats and cushions, ideal for alfresco dining. 2 large bean bags for chilling out. The villa also has private garage so if you do hire a car it can be kept out of the sun.
Coast/Beach
Kalamar Beach and Beach Club is less than 10 minutes walk from the villa. Kalamar Beach is a rocky outcrop that has been adapted to facilitate sun bathing, swimming and water sports. There are restaurants and bars at the beach club you can also arrange water skiing, snorkeling and scuba diving. Patara beach 10km/20 minute drive. A sensational 18km beach.
Special interest holidays
Kalkan is in the Lycian part of Turkey and ideal spot for anybody walking the Lycian way. Local walks can be arranged through local tour operators. Also boat trips/scuba diving/water skiing/jet skies, can be arranged by the harbour.
Travel
Dalaman Airport is the closest. Transfer time is approximately one hour and 20 mins. Transfers can be arranged via me, you will be met by the driver with a board with your name/villa name on it, so you can relax as soon as you arrive. We can also arrange for a hire car to be delivered to the villa from around £25 per day.
Once at the villa car hire is not essential, however it does allow additional freedom.
Distances
Distance to main village (Kalkan) approx 1.5km. 20-30 minutes walk. In a taxi around 4 minutes.
Kas is approx half hour drive along a beautiful coastline with fantastic views.
Fethiye is 1 hour drive away, don't miss the market on Tuesdays.
Patara Beach approx 20 mins drive.
Kaputas Beach approx 15 mins drive.
Further details
There are a number of banks and cash machines in Kalkan not to forget the village Post Office. Kalkan is transformed at night. It begins to bustle at dusk and there is excitement in the air, the delicious smell of food being prepared. Kalkan is famous for it's fine dining and outstanding service in some of the most beautiful roof terrace and harbour side restaurants, most of which have incredible views over the bay. Infact, Kalkan has well over 100 restaurants, which provide incredible choice, quality and outstanding value. Restaurants serve everything from Traditional Turkish meals to International Cuisine. Meals are often lingered over for hours in the refreshing evening air finishing after midnight. After dark the old town really comes alive. There are jazz and other live music bars, and several disco bars if you want to party late. Or maybe you might prefer to listen to a violin recital at the harbour side, or enjoy a Turkish night with music and belly dancing. The streets are busy with shoppers in the evening, and shops stay open until at least midnight selling some beautiful hand crafted carpets, intricately decorated ceramics and gold and silver jewellery sold by weight. Infact you can find just about everything in Kalkan from the latest O'neal surf gear to Turkish delight. Several Tailors are ready to make made-to-measure suits from excellent Turkish cloth, and high fashion boutiques offer the latest in designer fashion. Beautiful beaches, ancient ruins, adventure treks and mountain biking within easy reach of villa (30-45 minutes by car). Also within 45 minutes are mud baths and white water rafting at the Saklikent Gorge. General information - Average flight time: 4 hours. Language: Turkish. Currency: Turkish Lira. Booking notes
£200 deposit to secure booking (non-refundable). Balance 10 weeks prior to arrival, plus a damage deposit of £200. Damage deposit will be returned within two weeks of vacating premises. Subject to no damage of villa. Guests should ensure that they have their own insurance cover for personal injury, loss of possessions, damage to property, medical and cancellation.
