Sunflower enjoys a wonderful position in the Patara Prince Resort looking out to the Mediterranean Sea. The apartment has a lovely private terrace, perfect for breakfast, lunch or sundowners. Feel free to bring the apartment's CD player out here to enjoy some music as you sunbathe. There are other apartments for rent in Club Patara, so why choose Sunflower? 1. Sunflower has a wonderful seaview. Many Club Patara apartments have restricted view due to position/height. 2. Sunflower is not located on the top floor of a block, so it does not suffer from intense sun heat coming via the roof. 3. We have a history of independent reviews available from paying guests. 4. Changeover day
Chengeover day is flexible. In order to give our guests flexibility over travel dates, we do not require bookings to be for complete weeks.

Accessibility
There are stairs leading to the apartment and the resort is built on a hillside. This property is not suitable for wheelchair users or the infirm.
Outside
The seaview terrace has patio furniture including sunloungers and a dining table. The terrace has a light.
Coast/Beach
The resort has sea private platforms and diving facilities. There is a beach at Kalkan. The main beach is at Patara, which is easily accessible by dolmus or taxi.
Travel
From Dalaman airport, Kalkan is 1.5h drive. Flights are available throughout the year. We can recommend some good websites for direct flights from UK airports to Dalaman.
Car hire is not essential but is available through several companies.
Distances
Kalkan is 1km and can be reached by water taxi from the resort, or by walking/taxi.
Patara beach is about 20mins drive and has a magnificent beach which is over 10km long.
The ancient cities of Xanthos and Letoon are about 30mins drive.
Further details
Kalkan is the finest pearl of the Lycian coast. Nestling in a bay surrounded by hidden beaches and coves, its beautiful marina and Mediterranean charm are captivating and unspoilt.
The old town in Kalkan is beautiful with antique shops and restuarants. Designer jewellery and shoe boutiques sit alongside shops with locally made rugs and bags. There is a weekly market as well as supermarkets, a post office and banking facilities.
What is the Patara Prince Resort in Kalkan?
Beautifully designed, with world class facilities and a spectacular seafront location, Patara Prince is the treasure of the Lycian coast.
Set at various locations across the resort are four swimming pools, including one for adults only. The grand pool overlooks the Mediterranean sea and is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
Heading towards the sea are private sunbathing platforms and waterfront jetties for diving, boat trips and watersports. A health centre with a gym, Turkish bath and indoor pool is also onsite. Night-lit tennis courts are located next to the kids club.
Four restaurants along with bars and a nightclub provide food and entertainment throughout the day. As our guest, you will receive 25% off resort restaurant prices. An onsite grocery shop is handy for stocking up the fridge.
A shuttle service runs through the resort up the hill and a boat taxi runs across the bay into the Kalkan marina. The hidden beaches and coves around Kalkan are also accessible from the resort by boat.
About the Region:
This region, known as the Lycian coast, is renowned for the crystal clear colour of its sea. Ancient ruins believed to be up to 10,000 years old surround the area.
The ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos, overlooks the sea just a short drive away. Letoon is also very close. The city of Phaselis is also accessible and has been beautifully preserved.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment; the view from the balcony, comfortable bedroom, the peaceful surroundings and perfumes from the well established gardens, the restaurant terrace with very polite staff, and the most amazing of all, the clear water off the bathing platforms for snorkelling, with lots of spots among the olive trees equipped with sun loungers and parasols. This is a fantastic base to explore the surrounding area; the ancient cities of Xanthos and Patara (with it's breathtaking beach) and the santuary at Letoon are all within a half hour drive. Needless to say, we were very reluctant to leave!"

"Clean, comfortable and 'upmarket' apartment. Seemed spacious, and great views of ocean and mountains from the balcony...There was an infinity pool less than 50 metres from the apartment, again with good views. The noise from other apartments was minimal..."
