Outside
Loungers provided around swimming pool area and there is a communal garden. There is space for parking, should you decide to hire a car, although it is not a necessity with reliable local transport and taxis.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan's pebble beach which is located next to the harbour is approx 10 mins walk. approx 3 mins drive. There are also several beach clubs which offer water-sking, jet skiing and scuba diving. There are many places of natural beauty and historical interest that are easily reached and these include the Lycian Way, Tlos, Saklikent Gorge, Kekova sunken city, Xanthos, Letoon and Pinara are all within easy reach.
Travel
Flights from the UK to the newly opened Dalaman airport take approximately 4 hours.The airport is now open 12 months of the year. The journey time from Dalaman to Kalkan is approx 1hr 45 mins On arrival you will be required to purchase a temporary visa for each member of your party which costs £10 each so be advised to have the cash payment ready. Private taxi transfer from airport can be arranged upon request.

From apartment to Kalkan village approx 10 mins walk. Kalamar Beach club 3 mins drive. Patara Beach 25 mins drive. Kas 30 mins drive. Kaputas beach 15 mins drive. Fethiye 1 hr drive. Saklikent Gorge 45 mins drive.
Further details
Once a traditional fishing village, Kalkan has grown into a small holiday resort, with a yachting marina, modern hotels and a surprisingly large choice of good restaurants. Whitewashed houses hung with timber balconies cling to the hillside around the harbour, and narrow, cobbled streets packed with cafes and souvenir shops lead down to the waterfront. Kalkan is the prettiest of the small resorts along the south coast and has been built along the Side of a mountain with many of its simple cottages beautifully restored and redeveloped as small shops and restaurants. Kalkan was originally a fishing village but its smart marina now houses glamorous yachts alongside the fishing boats.
Booking notes
There is a non refundable £100 deposit on booking. The balance is due to be paid 8 weeks before departure as well as a £100 returnable breakages deposit, returnable immediately on arrival back from your holiday after clearance with local agent. Payment by PayPal accepted; small surcharge payable - details on request. Full details will be provided, once balance has been paid, with regards to access to the apartment on your arrival.
