There are 3 outdoor swimming pools to relax around and landscaped gardens to stroll through on your way to the restaurant or bar. A gym, diving and water sports are on site for the more energetic. Changeover day
Flexible. Check out generally by midday and check in after 3pm. Extended days can be pre booked. We are flexible as long as we have plenty of notice fro your coming and goings

Notes on accommodation
This is a great holiday apartment for couples, families or groups. There are lots of steps at this resort and although a free minibus runs around the resort we think it is unsuitable for very young children or people with limited mobility.
For larger groups we have other apartments and villas in the resort so please contact us with your requirements.

Coast/Beach
Club Patara Resort has its own private seafront with sunbathing platforms and direct access to the sea. The nearest pebble beach is in Kalkan, 10 minutes by boat, or 5 minutes by car or taxi. The beautiful sandy Patara Beach, 18 kilometres long, is only 20 minutes away by car and has been featured on BBC1 Holiday and the Evening Standard's list of 10 fantastic summer beaches!
Travel
Dalaman airport is approximately 1.30 hours by car, the resort can provide transfers which we can arrange for you. Alternatively Paradise Rent a Car are a Kalkan based reasonably priced car hire company that also provide airport transfers: Tel: 0090 (0)242 844 32 19. Mob: 0090 (0)535 565 78 06.
Dolmuses and Taxis run from Kalkan to local nearby towns and beaches.
Further details
Facilities at this resort are excellent and include the Grand swimming pool, a large pool located next to the terrace restaurant near the sea; the Round swimming pool, facing the historic Patara gate, for over 16's only and the Terrace pool, at the top of the resort near the clubhouse that serves drinks and snacks. There is a children's pool connected to the terrace pool which has a small waterslide.
Restaurants include the Patara A la Carte Restaurant on the terrace overlooking Kalkan Bay; Apollonia Beach and Buffet Restaurant; Agora Restaurant for Meditteranean and Italian cuisine and the Jasmine Patisserie for freshly baked croissants, pies, cakes and ice cream.
The health club has a gym, indoor pool, sauna, beauty therapy, haircare and Turkish massage.
Watersports include windsurfing, water-skiing, snorkelling and scuba-diving at the resorts private seafront. Private diving lessons are available. A speedboat is on hand for bay cruises and sunset charters, also a classical water shuttle runs everyday in the daytime to and from Kalkan.
Other facilities include tennis courts and volleyball, kids Club for the over 4's and baby sitting on request.
Kalkan Town is a small peaceful Mediterranean resort and fishing town on the beautiful Turquoise Coast of Turkey.
Sitting at the foot of the Taurus mountains, the town is a maze of narrow streets, whitewashed villas and small local shops, bars and restaurants. Kalkan is renowned for its rooftop restaurants and bars which have wonderful views over the bay. For the shopaholics amongst you there are many boutiques and local craft shops to browse in.
Kalkan is 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by boat from the Patara Prince Resort.
Further afield you can hike through the Saklikent Gorge, explore the ruins of Lycian cities such as Myra, Xanthos, and Patara, visit small Turkish villages in the mountains or laze on the 14 kilometre long unspoilt Patara beach.

Thank you for giving us such a lovely apartment for our holiday! The whole resort was beautiful but we were so glad to be situated on the top of the hill as we had the non-salt water pool and made walking to and from town much easier.

About the owner
Richard and Dee Edgar live in Surrey and run and independent Property Management company specialising in lettings, property management and investments overseas. Richard first worked and lived in Turkey as engineer over 30 years ago and met Dee in Bermuda where she had lived and worked. They have extensive knowledge, business experience and many happy clients in Turkey as well as running a successful lettings and management company in Surrey.
