This villa offers a spacious modern environment for both outdoor and indoor living; the roof terrace, balconies and extensive patio and pool area are perfect for private relaxation. The location is quiet and yet only a 10 minute downhill walk or a 3 minute drive to the many restaurants, shops and facilities of Kalkan. Perfect family accommodation and an ideal base for exploring Kalkan and the surrounding area. Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discounts available for parties of two adults during May, June, September and October.
Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Monday, particularly during the high season (July/August), though this may be flexible. The villa will be available from 3 pm and should be vacated by 10 am on the departure day to allow time for cleaning.

Weekly clean and linen service. Towels and linen are included and changed each week. Please bring your own pool/beach towels. The pool is cleaned daily. |
Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning in the living area and all of the bedrooms; mosquito screens throughout the villa. Our management agents speak fluent English and are readily available to help with any problems should the need arise.
Guests may use the facilities of the nearby Samira DeLuxe Hotel which also runs regular free transport into Kalkan and back (3 minute journey); internet access is also available at the hotel.

Outside
There are well tended gardens with banana, olive, lime and lemon trees. There is an elegant, very spacious and private patio area with sun loungers, umbrellas and side tables. All external areas including the pool (7m x 4m equivalent curved pool) are lit at night. There is a Turkish style barbecue on the patio. There is plenty of shade provided by the two terraces; also a large parasol shades the wooden outside dining table which has 6 comfortable chairs. There is a magnificent sunroof terrace, perfect for private sunbathing. There is a garage for off road parking if required.
Coast/Beach
The attractive local beach is a 15 mins walk from the villa with safe swimming and is next to the harbour. It is from here that water taxis can drop you off at different beach clubs around Kalkan. There are also boat trips to outlying islands. Alternatively, a taxi from Kalkan will take you by road (10 minutes) to Kaputas beach situated at the bottom of a ravine. Slightly further away, 15 minutes by car/taxi/bus from Kalkan is the famous Patara beach with over 18km of white sand.
Travel
Dalaman Airport is the nearest airport and is about 1.5 hours easy drive from the villa. Antalya is approx. 3 hours by car. Car hire is not essential in Kalkan as local taxi and mini bus services are plentiful and very reasonably priced. Should it be required we can arrange it on your behalf.
Airport transfers can easily be arranged in air conditioned taxis/mini buses from £90 return to £120 approximately depending on party size.

Further details
Kalkan is on the Lycian coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Historical sites and trail walks in the mountains are easily accessible. The impressive Saklikent Gorge is nearby. There are numerous outdoor sports including canoeing, snorkelling, sailing, para-gliding and scuba diving. Family horse riding treks can easily be arranged in the mountains with the opportunity to meet local Turkish families and taste home cooked food. For the less ambitious there are the ancient cobbled streets of Kalkan to visit. With boutiques and interesting shops and markets there is plenty to do. At night Kalkan comes alive and you are literally spoilt for choice with a vast array of reasonably priced restaurants and bars.

Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of 25% of the villa price is payable to secure a booking. Payment of the final balance is required. 8 weeks prior to departure. A £150 ‘breakage/damage’ deposit is also payable with the final balance and this will be returned within one week of departure from the villa. Please note that smoking inside the villa is not permitted.
