The position of Grania’s House at prestigious Club Patara/Patara Prince Resort is unbeatable, secluded in a lush garden of oleander, bougainvillea, olive and palm trees directly above the sea and over-16s pool. It is only a few steps further away from other pools, sea bathing from platforms over the rocks, water sports, restaurants, bars and a boutique hotel. A free shuttle bus runs up to the top of the resort and an infinity pool, tennis courts and small supermarket. The larger of Club Patara's 2 bedroom designs, it's tops for quality, too, with the extra plus of a shady room below the terrace open to the garden and sea views (an important bonus since in many similar properties this space is separately owned, let to another renter, with consequent loss of peace and quiet underneath your villa). Relax on the large partly-shaded terrace - no other house between you and the Mediterranean - or ‘chill out’ in the garden room, watching sunlight play on the sea across the garden.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Weekly laundry change and cleaning are included in the price.
Changeover day is flexible, but our booking periods are geared to Mondays when there is the greatest choice of charter flights. Charter flights now operate to Dalaman during the winter months. Please contact us for winter rates.

The house is not suitable for small children and since the resort is built on a steep hillside with many flights of steps it is also unsuitable for the less mobile.

Outside
The villa is to the end of the front line of houses in particularly peaceful, verdant gardens. Bougainvillea fringes the railing round the large terrace, with its built-in BBQ and comfortable cane furniture, while mattresses in the garden room provide an attractive alternative. From the terrace and all rooms in the villa (except bathrooms) the views are magnificent, looking straight over the garden to the sea, where you can watch the coming and going of gulets, the handsome local schooners. Two seawater swimming pools are just the other side of the garden, as is the sea and platforms over the rocks with sturdy ladders leading down into the azure water. Water sports and diving centre, boutique hotel, restaurants, bars and fitness centre are all extremely near at hand.
Coast/Beach
A few steps to swimming pools and sea bathing. Pebble beach at Kalkan village just across the bay, reached by 10 mins in water taxi or conventional taxi, 20 mins walking. One of the Mediterranean's best sandy beaches, 18km long, is at Patara, 20 mins drive away by car or shared minibus. Sandy Kaputas beach, backed by tall cliffs, is 5 mins drive towards Kas.
Travel
Dalaman airport 120km. Car hire available locally but not necessary unless you want to explore further afield. We can arrange airport transfers.
Distances
Kalkan village with its harbour, excellent shops and vast choice of restaurants is 5 mins drive or boat taxi away. Delightful harbour town of Kas is 30 mins drive (car or shared minibus) to the east, while there are many classical sites within one hour's drive - particularly stunning in spring when carpeted with wild flowers.
Further details
Frequent free minibus shuttle operates through the resort up to the top infinity pool and small supermarket. Banks, larger supermarkets, car hire all available in Kalkan. The area offers cedar forests and high mountains to explore, while classical sites such as Xanthos, Tlos, Patara and Myra are all within reach.
Not suitable for the very young or the less mobile.
