Changeover day
Arrival times and dates are flexible where possible, but Monday is the preferred change over day because of the higher number of flights from the UK on that day.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is air conditioned/ heated in the winter throughout and enjoys sun all day in its south facing position. It is very spacious, some 200sqmt and accommodates 8/9 very comfortably. There is plenty of room in all the bedrooms for a cot (there is a cot supplied at Villa Nathalie). Villa Nathalie's design, furnishings and decoration are contemporary and elegant, whilst reflecting the charm and character of it's old town location.

Outside
The beautiful stone mosaic terraces of around 800sqft provide plenty of space to sunbathe, swim, dine and entertain. The dining terrace, with it's large teak dining table and chairs, surrounded by fragrant Oleander and with 3 architect designed sails for shade provide a simply stunning contemporary space to enjoy unforgettable evenings.There are luxurious teak sunbeds with thick cushions on which to relax, with a space for your drink while you soak up the Mediterranean sun and enjoy the sea views.The fresh water pool is 8.2x4.6m wide and 5 feet deep and has wide mosaic steps into the water. Beautiful outside lighting all around the terraces and in the pool transform the feel of Villa Nathalie at night making it a place that you will want to invite new found friends for drinks or late night swims. Bouganvillia grows down the stone walls around the villa, terracotta pots on the terraces provide scent and colour, and in the garden olive trees, palm and many other plants grow.
Coast/Beach
Villa Pearl is just 3 min walk from the beautiful beach at Kalkan and just 10 mins dolmus ride from Kaputus beach, featured in many travel brochures for Turkey. Patara beach, voted one of the world's top 10 beaches by Times online is just 20 mins away by Dolmus. Free shuttle boats leave Kalkan harbour frequently for the many beach clubs around the bay that provide water sports, slides, and a floating trampoline. Great fun for the kids!! Travel
The brand new airport at Dalaman was completed in August 2006 and provides a modern efficient gateway into Turkey's south western Mediterranean coast. Flights depart from all over the UK all year round, although winter flights generally depart from the UK's major airports only. The flight time is around 3 hours 45 mins and the route is served by many charter and scheduled airlines. Most flights depart the UK for Dalaman on Mondays and Fridays, but it's possible to find a flight on any day.
Distances
Within easy reach of Kalkan are the ruins of the ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos,its port Patara,religious centre Letoon, and also Pinara. Xanthos was discovered in 1838 by the archaeologist Charles Fellows.Today a mixture of ruins from Roman, Lycian and Byzantine times including the Tomb of the Harpies, theatre, Neried monument and Inscribed pillar can be seen. Fethiye and Olu Deniz are 45 mins away by car and Sakilkent Gorge and the beautiful harbour town of Kas are less than 30 mins away.

Kalkan's post office for currency exchange, the restaurants and shops are all within 3 mins walk. Kalkan is transformed at night. It begins to bustle at dusk and there is excitement in the air, the delicious smell of food being prepared. Kalkan is famous for it's fine dining and outstanding service in some of the most beautiful roof terrace and harbourside restaurants, most of which have incredible views over the bay. Infact, Kalkan has well over 100 restaurants, more than everywhere else on the Turkish coast per inhabitant, which makes for incredible choice, quality and outstanding value. Restaurants serve everything from Traditional Turkish meals to International Cuisine. Meals are often lingered over for hours in the refreshing evening air finishing after midnight. After dark the old town really comes alive. There are jazz and other live music bars, and several disco bars if you want to party late. Or maybe you might prefer to listen to a violin recital at the harbour side, or enjoy a Turkish night with music and belly dancing. The streets are busy with shoppers in the evening, and shops stay open until at least midnight selling some beautiful hand crafted carpets, intricately decorated ceramics and gold and silver jewellery sold by weight. Infact you can find just about everything in Kalkan from the latest O'neal surf gear to Turkish delight. Several Tailors are ready to make made-to-measure suits from Excellent Turkish cloth, and high fashion boutiques offer the latest in designer fashion.
Booking notes
Villa Pearl can be reserved for a non-refundable deposit of £250 with the balance remaining, due 10 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. The price includes the complete villa rental for up to 8 people. In addition to the villa's capacity of eight, babies with travel cots that share their parent's room can also be accommodated at an extra cost of £75 per week. A damage deposit of £250 will be required at the time of paying the final balance to cover any breakages or damage.

Unforgettable evenings spent on the roof terraces of Daphne's and Ibo's restaurant and lunch at the Aubergine, right by the harbour. ‘I had originally booked this villa for 1 week, but as our other villa in Kalkan was so far away from town on an unfinished road, we came here a few days earlier, and I am so happy we did! We love the villa and have enjoyed the fabulous location making it so easy to eat out, go to the beach, shop etc. Mesut and Ayse are awesome, we want to take them home. Huzur has been so helpful and amazing too, he was always on hand and even brought us a masseur around one day; what bliss to lie by the pool having a massage. We were really impressed by the quality of the restaurants’
