Villa Badem comfortably sleeps 12 with 2 travel cots for younger guests. It is situated in the quiet foothills of Babadag mountain. The property enjoys stunning views with terraces benefiting from pleasant breezes in the hot summer months. The ground floor is open plan and offers a well furnished living room, separate dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a bathroom at this level. Doors lead out onto a large covered terrace offering ample shade and dining area for alfresco eating. The south facing pool and separate kids pool enjoy the sun all day and the built-in BBQ facilitates poolside entertaining. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms and four more bath/shower rooms. The villa is air conditioned throughout. The villa is within easy reach of the beach at Olu Deniz, the nightlife of nearby Hisaronu and the market town of Fethiye and is only a short walk away from local shops and restaurants.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Badem has been furnished with babies and younger guests in mind. There are 2 travel cots,pop-up travel cot for days out to beach etc,toddler bed guard,2 baby intercoms, 2 highchairs,baby bouncer seat, buggy, steam sterilizer, potty, changing mats, children's crockery and cutlery for guests use and of course the children's pool outside! There is a games cupboard, dozens of DVDs and a safe for valuables.
Outside
The private pool at Villa Badem is approx 11m x 5m with a separate children's pool. There are 11 sun loungers with mattresses and 4 parasols with ample extra shade offered by the almond tree and the large terrace. There is a hammock to while away the hours with a book and a built-in BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying al fresco dining!
Coast/Beach
The world famous beach and lagoon at Olu Deniz is a 10 minute dolmus/taxi ride away. The lagoon is ideal for small children as it is warm and shallow! Patara beach-voted the ‘Best beach in the world’ by the Sunday Times is just over an hour's drive away and well worth a visit - 12km of unspoilt white sand and dunes with a beach bar/restaurant. Sun loungers and parasols are available at both beaches.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman (New terminal opened 2006) approx 1 hour's transfer from the villa. Transfers are easily arranged.
Distances
The local market town of Fethiye is a 15-20 minute taxi/dolmus ride away. There is a large market here on Tuesdays selling all the copies of designer wear. Many boat trips leave daily from Fethiye harbour, the 12 Island trip being a particular favourite. The nightlife of Hisaronu and Olu Deniz are a 5 minute and 10 minute taxi/dolmus ride away respectively and there are many restaurants, bars and shops a short walk from the villa.
Further details
There are a lot of shops selling basic provisions locally with two large supermarkets in nearby Hisaronu. There is also a supermarket who will deliver your provisions to the villa if you order them by phone saving having to supermarket shop on holiday (details in the villa house book). There are ATM machines for cash withdrawals in Hisaronu and several large banks in Fethiye. There are many things to see and do in the area including paragliding, micro-lighting, horse riding, jeep safaris, boat trips, quad-biking, water sports inc diving and many trips to places of archaeological interest. There is a new aqua park and an air conditioned gym/fitness centre within a short walk of the villa. Details can be found in the villa's house book.
Booking notes
Please contact owner for booking form. 40% deposit required at booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. If the booking is made within eight weeks of departure full payment is required with the completed booking form. Terms and Conditions will be sent out with the booking form.
