Notes on accommodation
The apartment is managed by an English lady, available at all times for help and advice. Upon arrival there is a welcome pack and information book with tips on the flat and of Kalkan and its surroundings. The air conditioning units provide heating in the winter.

Outside
There are sun-loungers available for use by the shared swimming pool which is conveniently situated at the rear of flat.
Coast/Beach
A five minute downhill walk to the sea and the marina. A short drive away (taxis nearby) is a Beach Club with many amenities. Twenty minutes drive takes you to lovely sandy beaches for swimming and snorkling.
Travel
Dalaman Airport: 2 hours drive. Antalya Airport: 3 hours drive. Excellent local bus services. Hiring a car will open up possibilities of exploring the surrounding area.
Distances
Kas and Fethiye are 20 minutes and 1 hour's drive respectively. Both offer boat trips and both have a weekly open market; in Fethiye you may choose your fish or prawns and one of the surrounding restaurants will cook it for your lunch. Many historical and archeological sights are within easy driving distance; there are guide books in the flat.
Further details
Kalkan itself retains picturesque charm in the old town with its sloping, cobbled lanes and overhanging balconies,carpet shops and many good restaurants. A weekly market offers a wide range of inexpensive goods. A short drive into the hills will take you to trout farms for a delectable lunch. From guide books in the flat you will be able to choose the outing which fits your own interests.
Booking notes
20% of total sum due confirms bookings. Balance due 21 days prior to arrival. Payment may be made by bank transfer or into UK account, details on request. Minimum payment is for one week; thereafter days less than a week charged pro rata. Refund at owner's discretion. Enquiries welcomed for longer-term stays.
