The large harbour receives up to six cruise ships each day, faces Samos, a Greek Island, 2 km by boat. Two waterparks close by. Scores of carpet shops, jewellers & leatherware stores.

About the owner
I live in the West Riding of Yorkshire with my husband and two teenage children. We are very family orientated and because our family business can be very demanding at times, holidays are important to us.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased our apartment in 1996. We viewed numerous properties in many different parts of Turkey before settling for Kusadasi. The main attraction was the location. The marina, beach, shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc are all within very easy walking distance. There are many historic places of interest to visit either independently or via one of the many local travel agents. There is something for all ages which particularly suits us as various members of our family often join us and we have a wide range of ages and preferences to consider.

Unique benefits of the property
There is no need to hire a car whilst staying at our property. If wishing to go further afield, public transport is very cheap and efficient. Finally, the view; it's marvellous to watch the comings and goings of the cruise liners from one of the balconies or roof terrace especially at night as the sunsets can be magnificent.
