There are 3 outdoor swimming pools to relax around and landscaped gardens to stroll through on your way to the restaurant or bar. The Spa includes gym, Turkish bath, sauna, massage, beauty treatments and hairdressing. Diving and water sports are on site for the more energetic. Sunbathing platforms are tucked away in the natural stone of the private shoreline giving direct access to the sea. Staying in the Palm, you are entitled to 25% off any food and drinks purchased at the resorts restaurants or bars.

Notes on accommodation
Palm Tree Apartment is set in a quiet area of the resort near to the infinity freshwater pool, tennis courts, club house and resort shop which stocks all the essentials including fresh bread. Like other Palm Apartments, Palm Tree has a larger balcony than most other one bedroom apartments at the resort. The complimentary shuttle bus running throughout Club Patara calls at Palm Tree Square just a few seconds walk away.

Outside
Facilities at the resort are excellent and include the Grand Pool next to the Terrace Restaurant near the sea; the Round Pool facing the historic Patara gate for over 16's only and the Infinity Pool at the top of the resort near the club house. There are children's pools connected to the Infinity and Grand pools. You can dine in the Patara a la Carte restaurant overlooking Kalkan Bay or choose Apollonia Beach and Buffet Restaurant. Agora Restaurant specialises Mediterranean and Italian cuisine and the Jasmine Patisserie is great for freshly baked croissants, cakes and ice cream. The Spa offers a gym, indoor pool, sauna, massage, beauty therapy and haircare. Watersports include windsurfing, water-skiing, snorkeling and scuba-diving at the resorts private seafront. Bay cruises and sunset charters are available and the traditional resort boat runs everyday to and from Kalkan. Other facilities include tennis courts and volleyball, kids Club for the over 4s and baby sitting on request.
Coast/Beach
Club Patara Resort has its own private seafront with sunbathing platforms and direct access to the sea. Kalkan has a pebble beach which is 10 minutes by boat or 5 minutes by car or taxi. Patara Beach has been featured on numerous lists of fantastic holiday beaches and is 12 miles away. Nearby Kaputas Beach often feature in postcards of the area and has the most wondeful turquoise water.

Travel
Dalaman airport: 1.45 hours by car. We can recommend a reliable car hire company at Dalaman or help arrange a transfer to the resort.

Kalkan Town is a small peaceful Mediterranean resort and fishing town on the beautiful Turquoise Coast of Turkey. Sitting at the foot of the Taurus mountains, the town is a maze of narrow streets, whitewashed villas and small local shops, bars and restaurants. Kalkan is renowned for its rooftop restaurants and bars which have wonderful views over the bay. For the shopaholics amongst you there are many boutiques and local craft shops to browse in. Kalkan is 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by boat from the Club Patara Resort.
Further afield you can hike through the Saklikent Gorge, explore the ruins of Lycian cities such as Myra, Xanthos, and Patara, visit small Turkish villages in the mountains or laze on the 14 kilometre long unspoilt Patara beach.

Well what can I say, we had an amazing holiday! Totally fell in love with Kalkan and the resort was just stunning. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We chose Kalkan because it's a really pretty town that's retained it's authenticity and charm, it's a resort for people who like traditional Turkey away from the package tourists. For foodies the restaurants are fantastic, many with great views over the bay and the shops are wonderful for browsing. We've travelled extensively but never found anywhere quite as beautiful as Club Patara, the surroundings and the people make for a very special place. Our guests seem to love the resort, one couple got engaged during their stay so it must be pretty romantic! We can recommend sitting overlooking the sea enjoying the tranquility, swimming in the clear water and perhaps having a traditional massage or taking a boat trip.
Unique benefits of the property
The location, Club Patara and all it's facilities and a comfortable and well equipped apartment. Also Kalkan is easy to reach from Dalaman along good roads and once there you're well placed to visit interesting historical sites and beaches.
