This beautiful Villa looks out over the Kalamar bay and has large terraces off each floor as well as a 40 sq.m. pool and baby pool for the occupants sole use. The pool is set in its own terrace, with gardens below. Outdoor tables, chairs and garden/pool lights allow for guests to enjoy al fresco dining. Fully air conditioned and furnished to a high standard, all the rooms are extremely spacious (the lounge alone is over 50 sq.m), thus offering a family or couples sharing real space and comfort, even with maximum occupancy of 8. Unlike many Kalkan properties perched on a steep hillside, Zeytinlik Villa is a max 15 minutes walk on the flat to Kalkan village centre. This means that even in the height of summer it is still possible to walk into the villge rather than constantly pay out for taxis. Situated at the top of Kalamar bay it is an 8 mins walk down to the sea as an alternative to going to Kalkan beach/beach clubs.

Changeover day
Guests may arrive on any day of the week,at any time. Regarding departure: As long as guests can pack so that the villa can be cleaned for the next guests, we try to make provision so guests can stay in the villa until their airport departure time.

Outside
The large 40 sq.m. pool and adjacent small baby pool are for the villa occupants sole use only & are reasonably private not being easily viewed by other surrounding buildings. They are accessed from each bedroom with french windows leading directly out to pool terrace so guests need not traipse wet through the lounge. The pool terrace is also accessed from any floor in the house by external staircases. There are 2 sets of garden table & chairs so Guests can chose to eat by the pool or on the large terrace off the lounge, rather than at the indoor dining table. There is o nsite parking at the front & back of the villa.
Coast/Beach
Kalamar Bay 8 mins walk down hill (free taxi service from the beach club back up the hill) & 20 mins walk thru the village to Kalkan's shingle beach.
Just under 10 mins taxi to the shingly Kaputas beach or 15 mins by taxi to sandy Patara beach (18km sand & environmentally protected).
Special interest holidays
The owners also run a restaurant in the village & villa guests are invited to a morning in the kitchen with our chefs to learn a little about Turkish cooking.
The owners also organise daytrips upon request - we plan full day routes for guests & organise a driver for them either up into the mountains to visit vilages & historic sights or along the coast to see sites & coastal towns. We also organise private boat trips for our guests upon request.
Travel
Dalaman airport is nearest - 120 km by car (1&1/2-2hours drive), Antalya airport is a possibilty but is further away - 3-3&1/2 hours/280km).
The owners can organise private transfers (air-con & fully insured cars or mini-buses) from the airport upon request (incl return journey at end of holiday £80 for up 3 in a car & £120 for up to 8 in a mini-bus) Or if preferred can organise car for clients to collect at the airport. All fully insured.
Distances
Fethiye is a town 1 hour along the coats in the direction of the airport, it has a vast weekly food market & fish mrket & many shops. Kas is a small town in the opposite direction on the otherside of Kalkan which makes for a pleasant afternoon out. Up into the Taurus mountains behind Kalkan there is a wealth of small villages, historic sites, natural sites such as waterfalls etc to be visited. (Organised tours operate throughout the season.)

All the basics - post office, banks, ATM, supermarkets are in Kalkan.
Kalkan is quite well known now for it's many restaurants & generally high quality of food & service. There sre also a few low-key bars.
There are Turkish arts & crafts too - carpets, ceramics, glass, jewellery as well as clothes, ornaments etc shops.
Watersports are available as well as paragliding, horse riding.
Regarding children: Whilst there is not in the way of organised entertainment for children in general the nature of turkish culture means it is very child-friendly in Kalkan. The village centre itself being small means previous families have felt able to allow their children far more freedom to explore or go off shopping etc on their own whilst staying here.

You will be sent a reservation letter with details of your booking & requesting a 50% deposit. Once paid your holiday is confirmed. Rest of payment upon arrival.
