A beautiful four bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, with three large terraces and an ample private 25 square metre family swimming pool. Set in a peaceful rural area of Altinkum 5 minutes walk to the third beach and a couple of more minutes to Dolphin Square in the heart of Altinkum Town. If you prefer a more ethnic experience, Didim town with its weekly Bazaar and the Temple of Apollo ruins are a short 5 minute bus ride away.

A small number of towels and ample bed linen are provided for a one week or more stay. The property will be cleaned and laundered prior to arrival and after departure. |
Notes on accommodation
The property is fully air-conditioned throughout and has security grills on all windows and doors. A baby gate, pushchair and camp bed are also available. Welcome pack included: Water for cooler, eggs, bread, butter, jam, milk, tea and coffee, sugar and a bottle of wine, all with our compliments.

Outside
There is a big terrace on the ground floor of the property with barbecue, large table and chairs and access to the lounge dining area and pool. A car park and planted gardens to the front. A 25m swimming pool and with sun loungers and fully tiled floor all the way down the side of the villa. Please note: It is against the law, to use a swimming pool in Turkey adter the hour of 21.00hrs.
Coast/Beach
The 3rd beach of Altinkum is a mere 5 mins walk from Dussel Villa and the main beach of Altinkum is a 7 mins stroll away with its many bars and restaurants. Free bus services are provided to the beaches by some of the bars.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bodrum which is a 1½ hour drive away. Izmir is the next closest with a 2 hour drive. Taxi transfers can be arranged on request.
Distances
The traditional Turkish town of Didim is a 5 mins bus ride away as are the magnificent temple of Apollo ruins. The main supermarkets, Gima and Migros are 5 mins away by bus. There are a couple of local supermarkets and bars a few mins walk from the property.
Further details
There are a couple of small supermarkets close to the villa and two local bars, only a couple of minutes walk away. There are numerous link bank machines in Altinkum Town.
Booking notes
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due two months prior to your departure. Bookings made less than eight weeks before your departure must be paid in full at the time of the booking. A refundable damage deposit of £50 is required to cover any damages, excessive cleaning and/or loss of items from the holiday villa. This is required when paying the deposit.

Thank you very much for providing us with such excellent accommodation for our holiday.
We had a great time. When we weren't out on an excursion we could either walk down to the beach or stay by the pool. Quite luxurious. I tended to stay at the villa - reading, snoring, or swimming. The others are more beach people and spent a lot of time at the third beach, although their particular favourite was Manastir (?).
We visited lots of places and were lucky enough to have a turtle surface close to our boat at Dalyan. However it was always a pleasure to return to the villa and be in such a comfortable environment. I was originally concerned that there would not be enough space for us all but it worked out perfectly and everyone was very happy. Thank you for the childrens extras. They both had a wonderful time.
Thank you once again and wish you well for the future. Depending on 'the family' I may be back in touch soon.

About the owner
Sybil(grandmother), Sarah(daughter) and grandson Jack
are joint owners of Dusel Villa.
I myself(Sybil) am retired and live in a small village in West Yorkshire, my daughter and grandson live just around the corner.
I travelled extensively in my youth, but now I am contented spending two or three months a year with my friends who live in Altinkum.
I still know how to have a good time.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our villa is in a much sought after residential location of Altinkum, when there you feel a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet it is only a couple of minutes walk to shops/bar and 7 minutes in to the centre of town and the main beach.
We do not have problem's with rowdy tourists.
With the exception of myself, when on occasion the owner of the local Sky bar offers to give me a lift home safely.
We have beautiful well kept gardens full of flowers, a fantastic ground floor terrace to relax on and a good sized private pool to cool down in after a long hot day.
It is a very peaceful place to be.
If you have children, it is comforting to know that we have a good relationship with our neighbours English/Turkish.
We also have a private walled garden with secure gates.
Unique benefits of the property
It is a five minute walk away to catch a Dolmus(bus) in to Didim or to the waterpark.
Because Dusel villa is our second home, you are not short of home comforts.
We provide only cotton bed linen, which helps to keep you cool in the summer heat and all our rooms have air conditioning.
We also supply a welcome pack with wine/water etc for you on your arrival, it's not nice getting to your villa and not being able to have a drink or make a snack to eat.
It is a great villa in a quiet part of a bustling town.
