An extra-wide balcony on the 1st floor links all 3 bedrooms and provides shade at ground level during the day. The garden has high walls and mature shrubs to give a feeling of privacy. The L-shaped swimming pool is at the other end of the property. The villa overlooks a wide expanse of olive groves with good views of Kalkan bay, the islands and the sea beyond - ideally located to watch the boats going in and out of the harbour.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Monday as bookings are taken usually for a minimum of one week.
| Bedrooms: | Main bedroom has a king sized bed with spacious storage and dressing unit. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and bedroom 3 has twin beds. There is space in all the rooms for the 3/4 bed and/or the cot (both available) for younger ones. |
| Bathrooms: | Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, wash hand basin and WC Another shower room, with hand basin and WC is also located on the ground floor. |
| Kitchen: | Marble top kitchen units form an "L" shape at one end of the open-plan ground floor. It is fully fitted with gas hob and electric oven, a microwave oven, a large fridge/ freezer, sink, Dishwasher and washing machine. The cupboards provide ample storage. |
| Living Rooms: | In the spacious open-plan living area, a large round glass dining table seats 8 persons and the 2 single sofa beds form a lounge area with a coffee table, a flat screen TV and DVD player. There is also a CD player with a selection of CDs |
| Other: | The roof terrace is huge and with comfy chairs & table provides the ideal place to watch the sun go down in an evening before heading off to your favourite restaurant. There are loungers for those who wish to get a bit closer to the sun during the day |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen are provided, including towels for swimming. Cleaning and linen are changed twice weekly and bins are emptied daily. The pool is switched off each evening and on again each morning. Both the garden and the pool are serviced daily. |

Accessibility
Although there is a small step at the front gate and at the door entrances to the villa, wheelchair users should be able to access the garden and the ground floor only
Outside
The secluded garden has a mixture of flowers/shrubs and even a palm tree in raised beds and pots. A wooden table with 8 chairs enables al fresco dining close to the large barbeque. There are 8 wooden loungers with sun umbrellas and two easy chairs, a rocking swing and a breakfast patio table for 2 persons.
The pool is private and L-shaped accessed by roman steps at one end to 2 metres deep so good for swimming. Overall dimensions are 6m x 6m x 4m - approx. There is space to park a car close to the property.
Travel
The nearest airport served by charter flights is Dalaman with a 90 min. transfer time. (We can arrange transfers for villa guests). If staying about Kalkan, car hire is not required as it's only a few mins.level walk to the village. Taxis, dolmus buses and local tour companies operate to local places of interest. Kalkan has a market on Thursdays.
Distances
Local travel agencies can also arrange day trips to the nearest town - Fethiye where market day is Tuesday.
Kaputas and Patara beaches are 15 mins by dolmus.
Booking notes
Persons wishing to book should advise the owners who will exclusively "hold" the enquiry on a provisional basis for a few days, whilst time off work, flights etc are arranged. Once confirmed, the period will then be "reserved" pending receipt of a deposit of £250 per week. The balance of the payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure.

About the owner
We are a young-at-heart couple married for 40+ years and both retired. We have been holidaying in Turkey now for 10 years and go twice yearly, usually for a month.
We now have as many friends in Kalkan - both Turkish and British, as we have in Scotland.
Both our Turkish and our Scottish homes have many items which reflect our love of travel.
Our 3 grown up children love to visit our Turkish home with their children and friends.
