This apartment is situated on a lovely complex with views of the mountains from both the entrance to the apartment and from its 2 balconies overlooking the pools. The complex itself boasts 24hr security, 2 pools and children's pool, sauna, gym, TV/DVD room, Turkish bath, pool table, poolside bar/restaurant and wireless broadband access. The staff are friendly, fun and always on hand to give advice or help. Ovacik itself is set in the pine mountains and is quiet and picturesque although there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants and a water slide park within five mins walk. Alternatively a 5 min taxi or dolmus ride will take you into the much livelier resort of Hisaronu with many shops, bars, restaurants and clubs for the adults and a funfair, bouncy castles and trampolines for the children. A scenic 10 minute dolmus ride down the mountain takes you to the famous blue lagoon beach and both the harbour town of Fethiye and the historic ghost village are only a 15 min ride away.

We have no preference to changeover day if we can accommodate your booking although midday vacation of apartment is required if anyone is arriving that day.

Accessibility
The apartment itself is on the second floor so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems. The complex is ideal for couples and families alike.
Outside
The garden areas are pretty and well maintained, there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to serve the pools and WC's and pool shower adjacent.
Coast/Beach
A 10 min dolmus ride (stops directly outside complex) will take you on a scenic ride down the mountain right to the famous blue lagoon beach at Olu Deniz. With clear blue seas and mountains all around you can laze and soak up the sun and scenery!
Travel
The arrival airport is Dalaman with an approx transfer time of 45 mins. Transfers can be arranged through us door to door for £60 per 2 people and £10 extra per person (all prices are return inclusive).
Distances
The very lively resort of hisaronu can be reached by dolmus or taxi within 5 minutes or 25 mins walk. The town centre of Fethiye is approx 10 mins ride with its lovely harbour, boutiques, supermarkets and enormous market every Tuesday, not to be missed!
Further details
The Dolmus stop is directly outside the complex and the taxi rank is only 2 mins walk. local shops sell cigarettes, alcohol, groceries etc and are within short walking distance. There are two large supermarkets in Hisaronu and two more in Fethiye. There is so much to do, a trip to Saklikent the famous gorge is a must, also jeep safaris, boat trips, the ghost village at kaya, horse riding in the mountains and all at very reasonable cost.

Just to let you know we had a great time. The apartment was just fine with lovely views across the hills and mountains in the distance, a great place to watch the sun going down with a G&T after a hard day on the beach! The pool area is great along with the staff, Ismael, Fikret and the rest of the crew. We have stayed in Hisaronu before, but we much preferred your location. Much quieter and very easy to get around. We would definitely stay there again sometime in the future. Gary and Janet.

About the owner
My husband and I and our children live in the south west of England. My husband is a furniture maker and I am a lecturer at college. Our boys are all teenagers now and soon to be off our hands!
Holidays are very important to us and for me especially, the looking forward to the holiday is as much a part of it as the holiday itself. It keeps me sane through the long winter months, for my husband just knowing we have the apartment to escape to whenever we can has given him a new lease of life.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
My husband and I went on holiday to the apartment having found it on owners direct and totally fell in love with the area, the complex and the apartment.
We had toyed for some time with buying a holiday home but nowhere had grabbed us like Ovacik and the Ovacik Residences.
We made some enquiries as to any apartments for sale and were lucky enough that this apartment was coming on to the market. We spent some time looking at others but overall felt that this complex had the most to offer.
Quietly tucked away but within minutes of the beautiful Blue Lagoon, the very lively Hisaronu and pituresque Fethiye, it is perfectly situated for whatever type of holiday you enjoy.
Unique benefits of the property
The complex is always maintained to a very high standard, the pool areas and gardens are lovely. The resturant also provides a good selection of dishes and the managers go out of their way to help you.
A wide range of bars and resturants are within minutes of the apartment and the dolmus bus stop is right outside to take you to anywhere you wish.
The area is very safe and clean, suitable for young and old alike.
