Nestled into the mountain the apartment boasts fantastic views and an almost rural feel. However, is only a few minutes away from the local mini market and dolmus providing good transport connections into fethiye town and surrounding areas, such as olu deniz for its stunning beach, impressive scenery and warm waters of the blue lagoon and mediterranean sea, hisoronu for late night entertainment, shopping, restaurants, bars and dancing. Fethiye and its surrounding area also has plenty to offer the active visitor. There's an activity to suit most tastes, for example: there are historic sites in nearby, kadianda, tlos, patara and xanthos. You can go walking, cycling, kayaking, paragliding, diving and of course visit the canyan (saklikent gorge) a natural attraction a "must see". The apartment is a spacious 160 sq mtrs giving plenty of room for families or couples alike. The largest bedroom has plenty of room for an extra bed if required and can be used as a separate family room.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Discounts will be given for 3 weeks or more, please email or ring for prices. Winter long term rent can also be negotiable. The prices are based on 6 people shareing. There is a 30% suplement per person for more than six people sharing up to a maximum of eight people.
A £75.00 deposit will secure your holiday. A returnable breakages deposit of £100.00 to be paid with the remaining balance due 4 weeks prior to departure date (or earlier).
Changeover day
changeover dates are flexible to accommodate guests but we would ask you to vacate the apartment by 12 noon on the day of your departure, however this is negotiable depending on the time of the next guests arrival.

Notes on accommodation
There is a barbecue on the upstairs balcony, with cupboards and work top for alfresco dining. The sunbeds in the apartment are for the apartment balconies only as there are sunbeds around the pool for all guests. Pool safety. The pool is open from between 6am-11.30pm daily. There is no lifeguard so all children must be accompanied by an adult. Any drinks around the pool must be in plastic containers. The pool is kept perfectly clean, so it is appreciated that all bathers use the shower facility around the pool before entering. Only residents and their guests may use the pool. There is a Turkish Mobile in the apartment for use in emergencies, taxi's, takeaways and to book trips. With respect to smokers, please smoke only on the Balconies. Many thanks. All rooms have air-conditioning, the water is heated by solar panels however there is also an emertion heater for those unusual cloudy days. There is a docking station for Ipod music, Satalite TV, DVD and also a safe.
Accessibility
The apartment is on an incline and people with walking difficulties may find it difficult.
Outside
There are well maintained gardens around the pool area with a number of sunbeds, sun canopies (umbrellas), tables and chairs. There is also a lower terrace on the outer side of the pool. Both balconies are large with stunning veiws of the Bay. Both sets of patio doors in the lounge area open onto the upstairs balcony where there is a Bar B Q with work top and cuboards under and table with chairs for Alfresco dining as well as with plenty of room for sunbeds. Downstairs, two of the bedrooms open onto the large balcony with a few steps leading to the pool and garden area.
Coast/Beach
Olu Deniz is easily reached on the Dolmus aprox 20 mins where you will find its scenic beach and lagoon, Hisauronu 15 mins and Fetihye Bay10 mins. There are many boat trips offered to you along the prom in Fethiye or Olu Deniz most of which will collect and return you to the apartment or the Dolmus stop. Fethiye is a beautiful and picturesque town with vibrant harbour streets and historic sites. There are excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, Turkish Baths and fantastic shopping.
Golf
Dalaman has the nearest Golf Course aproximately 50 Minutes away by car.
Skiing
Seki Ski Resort is located 1hour and 15 minutes from Fethiye by car. At 2780 metres above sea level the mountain of Erendagi is part of the Tolaslar Mountain range. The ski resort is 1920 metre's above the Village of Seki. Therefore the brave enough can ski in the mountains and swim in the med all in the same day. There are three slopes, one for skiing and two for snow boarding with experienced instructors to give lessons. A cable car takes skiers to the height of the slopes.
Special interest holidays
Lycian way walks are really popular in the cooler months and details of local and group walks are available on request. There are a number of historic sites situated in and around Fethiye for you to visit and for the active, there is Cycling, Kayaking, Paragliding, Boat trips, fishing off of one of the boats in the Bay and Diving.
Travel
Dalaman airport is the nearest airport to Fethiye, transfer by coach or mini bus can take around 1hour 15 minutes. However, if travelling by taxi this can be reduced to approx 50 minutes. Taxi, minibus or car hire can be arranged at time of booking. Taxi return costs between £70.00 (4 people) and £80.00 (6 people) depending on how many persons.
Distances
Fethiye is reached by Dolmus in aprox 10 minutes depending on the driver where you can visit the Museum, Cultural Centre, Old town and tombs, Tues Market, Bizaar, waterfront, Marina, many Bars and restaurants and much more. Kayakoy village (Ghostown) can be reached from Hisouronu and kadianda an Ancient Roman site and Lycian City can be reached on the mountainside by foot from the quaint village of Uzumlu where you will find a wine bar, pide, and a couple of garden restaurants and Locanta's.
Further details
There is a local mini market near by for initial groceries all other shopping would be in Fethiye where you will find a traditional Turkish Market on Tuesdays and Fridays, banks, money change, supermarkets, restaurants and places of interest. For example, the Castle road, the amphitheatre, tombs and much more. If you visit fethiye in the evening there is a charming bizaar were you can purchase leather goods, Turkish Rugs, spices and a whole lot more in a friendly vibrant atmosphere. The Promanade offers a more cosmopolitan feel with its numerous bars and restaurants over looking the marina and Bay. There is a water Taxi to Calis, this is especially nice at sunset where you can also find a number of bars and restaurants along the water front and watch the sun go down.
There are numerous places of interest to visit in the area for example; The Jeep Safari takes in many sites and experiences all in one day or you can take your time and visit Saklikent Gorge, Butterfly valley, Koya (Ghost Town), Tlos and many tombs. These trips can all be booked from the mobile in the apartment.
For Children when they are not playing in the Pool there is an Aqua Park aprox 10 minutes away on the Dolmush, There are Children's facilities In the Bay, including numerous play area's, Trampolines, occaisional fun fair and other activities. The Lagoon side at Olu Deniz offers safe shallow clear waters for younger children to play in stunning surroundings. There is a small fee (around £1.00 each) but worth every penny, there are also Pedelowes and water sports.
Booking notes
Bookings can be made by email or telephone were a non refundable deposit will be required of £75.00 this will secure your holiday. Final balance together with a breakable deposit of £100.00 will be required 4 weeks before departure this will also be non refundable if on inspection by the management no damage to the apartment occurs the £100.00 breakage deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your return. We also consider monthly instalments.

About the owner
My husband and I live in England, we fell in love with Fethiye and the surrounding area and bought the apartment on our first visit in 2008. Since then we have returned at least 4 times a year.
We love the "laid back" way of life, culture, friendly people and beautiful scenery and leave our hearts here every time we return to England.
Our intention is to live in Turkey when we retire.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought our apartment in Fethiye because this pretty harbour town is open all year round. Unlike other resorts, Fethiye never closes during the winter months which means you can holiday in the area any time of the year.
The summer season is long, good sunny weather usually starts in April and runs right through to the end of October. Tasyaka is ideally situated between the buisy resorts of Calis, Fethiye Bay, Ovacik, Hisaronu and only 20 minutes on the Dolmus to the stunning beach of Olu Deniz with its crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon.
Unique benefits of the property
We love our apartment, it is furnished to a high standard and fully equipped for modern living. When we first bought our apartment we were blown away with the breathtaking views of the sea and mountain ranges.
We never get bored of sitting on the balconies with a glass of wine (or two) watching the stunning sunsets. The apartment is set on the hillside giving a rural feel but is only a few minutes away from the Dolmus stop giving easy access to restaurants, bars and dancing.
The people are friendly, the way of life is simple and we really do unwind!.
