Villa Zeytin is a fully equipped and air conditioned, luxury, detached villa. With private pool, patios, balconies and an outside BBQ. It nestles in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the foothills of the Taurus mountain range, with panoramic views and tranquility rarely available these days. A ideal rural retreat and perfect place to escape the pressures of modern life, yet just 40 mins from the hussle and bustle of Fethiye, Calis, Kalkan or Olu Deniz. All daily provisions can be obtained locally in the village and the hospitality and value for money in the local roadside restaurants is amazing, a real experience. It is recommended that you hire a car as local transport is difficult to arrange.

Notes on accommodation
The property is ideal for families with young children with all patios and balconies railed and gated. Air/con is reverse cycle thus providing heating for winter use if necessary. The patios and balconies envelope the front and side of the villa providing stunning views of countryside and mountains. Access does involve steep steps in and around the development. From time to time you may experience power cuts or voltage reductions.
Outside
The private pool has great views, is about 8x4m and 1.5m deep. It will generally be open and usable between mid May and the end of October. There is an outside shower, umbrellas and loungers are provided. The 'Turkish style' BBQ is within easy access of the kitchen and patio and should provide some enjoyable alfresco dining experiences.
Coast/Beach
An easy 40 mile drive to the West takes you to the beach resorts of Calis and Olu Deniz. The 'world class' golden sandy beach at Patara with its ruins and amphitheatre is just 35 mins to the East.
Travel
Dalaman airport is about a 70 min drive. Car hire is strongly recommended as local transportation is limited. Car hire can be booked in advance. We can arrange for the cars to be delivered to you in the villa or at the airport. Detailed directions to the villa from the airport are available on request. Transfers can be arranged on request.
Distances
5 mins drive to the local village at Kadikoy. 15 mins to Saklikent Gorge, the ancient city of Tlos and Yaka Park. 35 mines to the ruins of Xanthos, Pinara and Patara. 40 mins to the lively harbour town of Fethiye and it's restaurants, shops and bustling market. 40 mins to another harbour town Kalkan. 45 mins to the ski resort of Seki.
Further details
Our management company will meet you on arrival, give you the keys and show you around the villa. They will provide an emergency local contact telephone number. Should you wish, they can arrange for local taxis, tours etc (at an additional charge payable locally).
Booking notes
20% deposit payable immediately, with the balance paid 8 weeks before departure. A £100 cleaning/damage deposit will be required.
