This new luxury 4 bedroom villa is set in a commanding position overlooking Kalkan, the sea and Taurus Mountains. Villa Kariska has been beautifully furnished in a contemporary style and has everything that you could need for a relaxing and memorable holiday. Take time out to enjoy the excellent views and the tranquility of the villa which provides numerous settings to relax. You are only 10 minute walk into the old town of Kalkan, with it's numerous bars, restaurants and shopping. Fully air-conditioned throughout, this spacious property offers: 4 Large bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests in 2 double & 2 twin bedrooms - all with private balconies, with sea views. The master suite occupies the whole of the first floor providing a king size bed, ensuite bathroom and superb lounge area. The open plan lounge/dining area overlooks the pool terrace. It is equipped with satellite TV, DVD, CD player, and a selection of DVDs and board games.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
25% discount if booking is for dates less than 4 weeks away.
10% early booking discount when bookings are made more than 10 months in advance.
These discounts do not apply during July and August.

Changeover day
Change over days are Fridays although other arrangements will be accommodated if possible.
Guests are asked to vacate the property by 12:00 on the day of departure.

The Villa is fully air conditioned.
The pool is 1.9m deep does not have a shallow end.
The villa is unsuitable for the infirm.
Guests are asked not to smoke in the villa.

Outside
The villa is set within it own beautiful private gardens with a large terrace area with views of the sea and mountains. The private pool is (6m x 4m). There is a large dining table that seats 10 under a shaded pergola. Six cushioned sun beds,drinks tables and 3 umbrellas are provided.
The upper terrace area has a hammock, providing an alternative area to relax. Each Bedroom has access to the balconies and the large roof terrace has panoramic views of the sea and mountains.

Coast/Beach
The local beach in Kalkan is 15 minutes walk away. Gullet cruises can be taken from Kalkan harbour and there are free boat services to the beach clubs. There is diving, snorkelling and other watersports available in Kalkan
Patara beach's 18 kilometers of golden sand is one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey and voted one of the world's best beaches in a Sunday Times supplement, is reached by car in about 20 minutes or by local bus. The beach's facilities offer hire of sun beds and shades.

Travel
A car is not necessary. We can arrange transfer from Dalaman or Antalya airports direct to the villa as follows:
from Dalaman 1-3 pax £50, 4-8 pax £65, 8-14 pax £ 90 (each way). from Antalya 1-3 pax £70, 4-8 pax £100, 8-14 pax £ 130. (each way). Taxis are readily available to and from the villa. Hire cars are available locally. Dolmus buses operate between Kalkan and local beaches and towns. Local excursions are available to many interesting and historic sites.

Further details
Kalkan, described as Turkey's best kept secret, is a small, sophisticated resort set on the Turkish Mediterranean Riviera. The town nestles on the foot of the Taurus mountains and was once a small fishing village, it is now a charming holiday resort consisting of cobbled streets, housing interesting shops selling jewellery, carpets and local goods. One can enjoy bartering with the shopkeepers and their hospitality offering of apple tea.

Enjoy a beer at the bars on the picturesque harbour, admire the gullets, the fishing and sailing boats, or hire for the day your privately skippered boat and be taken to the coves for a swim in the turquoise sea, sunbathe, enjoy the food, all at unbelievable value.

Visit the small pebbled beach close by the harbour or the local beach clubs and enjoy the water sports available, such as snorkling, scuba diving and wind surfing.

Hire a car or join a local excursion to visit one of the many historical ancient sites such as Patara, Xanthos, Tios, a trip to the Taurus mountains or the amazing Saklikent Gorge.

Enjoy mountain walks, climbing, trekking, caving and parascending, have a relaxing Turkish bath or massage to ease away the aches and pains.

In the evening, sample some of the finest food at the harbourside restaurants or those with roof top terraces offering views of Kalkans wonderful illuminated nightlife.

A Sunday Times article likened visitors to Kalkan to those attracted to Tuscany and the Dordogne, we agree entirely, Kalkan is for the discerning holiday maker.

Booking notes
On signed acceptance of your booking, a non-refundable deposit of one third of the total hire fee is required. The remaining balance is due and required eight weeks prior to the departure date.
A deposit of £250 is required to cover any damage this will be returned with 2 weeks of the end of your holiday.
