Changeover day

To be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure but arrangements can be made to stay on later depending on the arrival time of other guests.

Notes on accommodation
There is air conditioning, which converts to heating if required. All furniture and fittings, beds and bedding etc are new and the decoration is to a very high standard.
For the comfort of other guests we do not allow smoking inside the apartment.
Pets are excluded.
Outside
There are three balconies with the apartment, all of which have stunning sea views and two of which are extremely large. There is a garden area adjacent to the shared pool which has a patio. We have provided sun loungers for the use of our guests.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is 10 min walk into Kas town and harbour. Kas has 2 pebbly beaches, as well as a number of 'beach clubs' which provide free sunbeds and umbrellas on sunbathing platforms with direct access to (and steps from!) the sea. The beautiful sandy beaches of Kaputas and Patara are about 15 and 40 mins drive from Kas respectively. The pretty sand/pebble coves of Liman Agzi, which face Kas's harbour, can be reached by local boat service, departing every few mins.
Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport however Antalya is also an option. As the apartment is only a short walk into town car hire is not a necessity and taxis are readily available. Transfer time from Dalaman airport is 2 hours drive. From Antalya transfer time is 3 hours.
Distances
Kalkan is 25 min drive; Patara Beach 40 min drive; Fethiye 1 hour drive; Kekova 25 min drive. These can all be reached by dolmus. The bus station is 7 min walk away.
Further details
Kas is a small picturesque harbour town in a lovely bay under the sheer green Taurus mountains. A world apart from the overcrowded tourist resorts, it still has its typical scenery; small houses with wooden balconies, cobbled streets, traditional market and attractive harbour with fishing boats. There are many excellent and varied restaurants, tea gardens, bars and cafes, craft and clothes shops. Activities include scuba diving, gullet trips, paragliding and trekking. There are many historical remains to explore including the amazing rock tombs, sarcophagi and the Kas amphitheatre.
Booking notes
At time of booking a non-refundable holding deposit of 20% will be required with the balance being payable 8 weeks before your holiday start date. A £100 returnable damages deposit is also required.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We fell in love with Kas during our first visit. We love to sit on the balcony and enjoy the lovely views. The property is a ten minute walk into town, just enough to build up an appetite for a fantastic meal in one of the many lovely restaurants in town. The people are very friendly and enjoy sitting and chatting to you. In the apartment we have given suggestions of our favourite places to visit, maybe you can suggest some others!
Unique benefits of the property
We have the most wonderful views from the balconies looking out over Kas town and further to the sea, perfect for watching the sun go down with something cold to drink.
