Catrina is a three storey, 3 bedroom villa with outstanding views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The private pool area is fully furnished to the highest standard including a newly erected Pergola. Catrina is located just a short walk from the village of Kalkan with its romantic cobbled streets, alleyways and beautiful harbour. Kalkan was once a Greek village and there still retains some architecture from those times.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king beds, fitted wardrobes and furniture. Patio doors lead to the balcony and comfortable furniture. Bedroom 3 (top floor) with 2 single beds and fitted wardrobe. Door leads to the balcony. Cot arrangements available on request. |
| Bathrooms: | Bedrooms 1 and 2 have private en-suites with shower and WC/ bidet. Bathroom to bedroom 3 is a large shower room complete with WC/ bidet. The ground floor has a large cloakroom with WC. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with a full cooker and hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, George Foreman grill, etc, in fact everything your kitchen at home. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine, electric iron and ironing board. This is situated on the top floor as part of the large shower room. |
| Living Rooms: | Open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. Complete with 2 sofas and 2 easy chairs. 6 setting dining table. Satellite TV with DVD player. Good selection of DVDs. Music centre with a good selection of CDs. Open fireplace for those chilly evenings. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are all supplied and changed every 3-4 days, arrangements can be made locally to reduce or increase the frequency as required. Cleaning of the property is also undertaken at this time. |

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms and the living area have independent air-conditioning units which can also be used to heat the property if required. The pool and pool terrace are cleaned on a daily basis. If you were to have any problems with our property we have arrangements with a local support company who will carry out any repairs required on your request. The high chair quoted is actually a booster seat which utilises any of the dining chairs as required. There is other baby equipment available in addition to the cot, bath, sterilising unit etc.
Accessibility
As the rest of Kalkan our villa is situated on a steep hill side, there are also stairs up to the villa from the road. We would not recommend the villa suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
Outside is fully furnished including sunbeds, deck chairs, tables, parasols, dining table with chairs for 6. The balcony and roof terrace are also supplied with furniture for your comfort and privacy. There is also a secluded Pergola with cushions. The pool is for sole use of the villa. A BBQ is also available for your use. Catrina has two small garden areas with fruit trees and shrubs, this area is tended on a regular basis by our gardener. There is a large tiled area around the pool so you will never feel over crowded. The ground floor veranda area is covered so that you can escape the midday sun rays without having to go inside the villa. Wherever you may be around the property there are always fantastic views of the sea and nearby islands or the Taurus mountain range.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan town has a small pebble beach within walking distance of the villa. Around the harbour there are several beach clubs, details of which we have left in the villa. Some of these have a pick up/drop off service if required. Others have boat shuttles leaving from Kalkan harbour. Further afield there is the fantastic Patara beach, approx 12km. This can be reached by Dolmus or taxi if you decide not to rent a car. Kapatus Bay is even closer but quite small in comparison but well worth a visit.
Special interest holidays
In the villa we have left some local walks and drives to areas in the region that are well worth seeing. There are lots of excursions whatever your taste that leave from the village every day, details of which have also been left in the Villa.
Travel
Dalaman airport is approx 1 1/2 hours away by car. This is improving all the time as new roads are built. Antalya is approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours by car. Transfer arrangements can be made at reasonable rates. If required.
Distances
Kalkan town and shops are within walking distance. Kas is the closest large town and is a 30 min drive approx. There are numerous places of interest in particular Patara with its long isolated golden sands and ruins to explore. Saklikent Gorge for rafting and sightseeing. Details of many excursions available in the villa.
Further details
Kalkan has numerous restaurants, all of which serve fantastic food at prices to suit all pockets. You must try a roof top restaurant during your stay to appreciate the relaxing atmosphere of the village at night. There are many boutiques and bag shops that hold many bargains compared to UK prices, in the winding cobbled streets and alleyways. Try a Turkish shave and massage they are fantastic and cheap. Many of the larger hotels also have beauty parlours for the ladies in your party to be pampered at a fraction of UK prices. Stroll around the old town of Kalkan and soak up the atmosphere with the friendly locals.
There are a few restaurants close at hand if you do not wish to venture into town, Bella Monte, Samira De luxe and Mediteran hotels.

There are discounts for single couple occupancy during 2012. The Villa is advertised as sleeping 4, however it has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 on request which will incur additional costs.
