This wonderful new individual 285sqm luxury stone villa, called Villa Nurtan after its Turkish architect, is considered the finest in the area. Built-in stone by local craftsmen using only the best quality materials, it is located in Kecibuku, Orhaniye, an idyllic valley location set alone surrounded by olive trees and hills. The villa is our retreat in Turkey so is centrally heated and can be lived in all year round. Using local labour and materials we have aimed to create a villa that is sympathetic to its surroundings. This extends to our furniture, which is mostly hand-made in the village. Only 25km away from bustling Marmaris, yet offers a peaceful retreat for discerning individuals and families looking for a private and very special place to unwind, away from ‘developments’. Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week and fully inclusive, including twice weekly villa cleaning, electric/gas bills, daily pool cleaning and garden service, welcome pack and local-based representative.

| Bathrooms: | Main bathroom has large corner bath and shower. En-suite has shower. All showers thermostatically protected and all bathrooms centrally heated with towel rails etc. |
| Kitchen: | Luxury handmade kitchen with granite worktops and full range of white goods (including dishwasher and washing machine), breakfast sitting area. |
| Living Rooms: | Very spacious lounge with fireplace and ottoman style sofas. One large Ottoman sofa can sleep one adult or two children. |
| Other: | Outside 2 large verandas - one enclosed for winter use. Winter enclosed barbeque. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels, tea towels and linen all provided. Villa cleaned, towels and bed linen changed twice weekly. Pool cleaned and garden tendered daily. |
Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning to all 3 bedrooms with fan light in kitchen. Central heating radiators throughout linked to solar heating system, powerful 10KW automatic backup generator, 1000 litre standby water system provide backup services. Outside terrace is fitted with detachable double glazing windows and doors in winter to keep our winter guests snug. Fixed line and Turkish mobile provided. Free ADSL with wi-fi access point for guests' laptops to connect to the internet. The pool is a constant 1.70m deep so children must be supervised in and around the pool area at all times.

Outside
Large garden area surrounded by olive trees. Private pool with lighting. Outdoor furniture includes comfortable wooden sun beds, parasols and drinks tables. 2 large covered verandas with wooden dining table and chairs for eight. Lovely pavilion for lounging about. BBQ area.
Coast/Beach
Villa Nurtan is within 10 mins stroll of the local restaurants which have private beach access to the bay. Although the bay is marked on sea charts as ‘Kecibuku’ or Goat Bay, all the locals refer to it by more poetic of ‘Kizkumu', meaning Maiden's Sands where there is a spit of sand reaching into the bay that you can walk across. The local legend claims that a local girl who wanted to meet with her lover put some sand in the hem of her skirt and planned to fill the sea with this sand.
Special interest holidays
Orhaniye’s marina is easily accessible from Villa Nurtan, being a 20 minute stroll or 10 minute cycle ride away from Villa Nurtan. Villa nurtan is surrounded by hills making it wonderful for walkers who wish to explore this beautiful peninsula, away from the crowds.
Travel
We can arrange transfers and car hire at excellent rates if required. It is about a 10 mins stroll to the main road where you can pick up an hourly dolmus service to Marmaris, if you fancy the bright lights.
Distances
Orhaniye may only be 25km from Marmaris but it could be easily be the other side of the world. Orhaniye is located on the Bozburun peninsula which is now protected by government laws against the excesses of mass tourism. Within a few kms you get up in the hills to the pretty village of Bayir with its stunning views or travel down the peninsula to Bozburun which lives off boat building and yacht servicing.
