The apartment is light and spacious, tastefully and comfortably furnished with all the facilities you would expect. There are 2 large balconies for sun or shade all day long. Dalaman itself offers a range of restaurants, shops and weekly market. It has its own large natural beach and Sarigerme blue flag beach resort is just a short 15 minute drive away. Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning units provide both cold and hot air for all year round comfort. The complex has an English speaking manager who is available to help with any special or particular need.
Accessibility
This is ground floor apartment, but does have 5 stairs leading up from the lobby.
Outside
The complex has landscaped gardens with tropical fruit and flowers. The central pool has a seperate children's area and 'jacuzzi' surrounded by a large sun terrace with plenty of room to spend a lazy day soaking up the sunshine and surrounding views. A table, chairs and sunbeds are provided for your personal use either on the balconies or by the pool.
Coast/Beach
Dalaman has it own huge natural beach but if you prefer the nearby blue flag beach resort of Sarigerme is just 15 minutes drive away with all the usual beach facilities, a beautiful sandy beach with views over the bay with a back drop of pine trees providing shade from the hot sun, a childrens play area and picnic tables. Exploring the coast there are many bays a little further a field including the famous Iztuzu beach nesting ground of the caretta-carrettas sea turtles.
Golf
The Hilton golf complex at Sarigerme is due for completion summer 2012 and is just a short 15 minutes drive away.
Skiing
Seki ski resort is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hours drive away.
Travel
Dalaman airport is just a short 10 minutes drive away and transfers to and from the apartment can be arranged. The local network of buses (dolmus) are very cheap and easy to pick up either locally or from the main town square. They serve the surrounding areas of Sarigerme, Sarsala Beach, Fethiye, Gocek, Dalyan, Ortaca and OluDeniz. Taxis are also reasonable. However if you wish to make the most of your stay a car would be recommended rates are approximately £23 per day high season.
Distances
The nearest bakers, supermarket and butchers are just a 10 minute walk from the apartment walking back towards Dalaman town. The high street provides shops and restaurants for all of your needs and a weekly local market. Dalyan for Iztuzu Beach/Mud Baths/ Kaunos rock tombs - 20 minutes by car/taxi. Gocek marina and 12 island cruises - 20 minutes. Fethiye/OluDeniz - 30 to 45 minutes.
Further details
This part of Turkey has something to offer everyone. For the active, the area has many activities including white water rafting, paragliding, golf (2010), kayaking, canoeing, horse riding, diving and snorkeling, adventure tours and scenic walks. For the not so active there are gentle boat rides along the coast or rivers, mud baths and thermal springs, Turkish baths and saunas. For the men a trip to one of the numerous barbers in the town is an experience not to be missed. Dalaman's history stretches back thousands of years. The region has been home to a succession of people including the Persians, Romans, Byzantines, and the Ottomans. As a result of this continued occupation, the region is rich in historical sites and places of archaeological interest. So many places to visit and things to do you will need to visit again and again to appreciate all this area has to offer. Full details of local places of interest, activities and recommended restuarants will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Booking notes
The apartment is available to rent all year round. Messages left on the ansaphone or emails will be answered within 2 days. Once a booking has been accepted a non-refundable deposit of £100 will be required. The balance of the booking together with a £50 refundable breakage deposit will be payable 6 weeks prior to departure. The breakage deposit will be returned following a satisfactory inspection of the apartment. Rental rates are inclusive of electricity, gas and water.

About the owner
John and I live in SE England we have 6 children between us and 3 grand children and like nothing more than to spend our holidays together as a family. The beauty of Dalaman is that it is a very family orientated area. The locals are very friendly and hospitable and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our teenage boys are safe to go out at night on their own and have made many Turkish friends. Dalaman is a developing tourist area that still retains its Turkish way of life and culture, much like Spain 20 years ago. We try and visit our apartments as often as we can to recharge our batteries and just relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We first visited Turkey in 2007 looking for an investment to boost our retirement fund. We had no idea that we would fall in love with the area. We saw many developments but Dalaman Gardens unlike many in the area was within walking distance of the town. The accommodation was spacious light and airy and finished to high standard. We liked it so much we bought 2 apartments! We now visit Turkey as much as we can and always find somewhere we haven't visited before. There is just so much to see and do. Friends who have visited with us have now also bought apartments on the same development which is a testament to it's appeal.
Unique benefits of the property
We cannot recommend Dalaman enough it has all the ingredients for a great holiday whether you like activity or relaxation. It has hospitality, great food, beautiful beaches, amazing scenery, culture and history.
Dalaman Gardens is a small select complex offering luxury accommodation set in landscaped gardens. There is always room in and around the pool even at the busiest time of year. The English speaking manager is on hand to offer advice and assistance. In fact the perfect holiday get away.
