This stunning, well equipped apartment has one of the best locations in Kalkan, within a short stroll to the main street and close to the harbour (no taxis needed!). It benefits from 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which is a self contained private bedroom with its own shower room and views to the sea. There is a large open plan living area with a TV and DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are fully air-conditioned. The large private roof terrace with barbeque, dining table and sunbeds has uninterrupted panoramic views of Kalkan Bay and beyond. There is also a large shared swimming pool with ample sun bathing area and sunbeds. The apartment benefits from a substantial reserve water tank to ensure continuity of water throughout the summer.

Changeover day
We are flexible as to arrival and departure times as we appreciate this is governed by your flight time.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are air conditioned, which converts to heating if required. All furniture, and fittings, beds and bedding are of a high standard. A hairdryer is available in each bedroom.
Our English speaking manager is available to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and problem free holiday.
Accessibility
The apartment is not suitable for younger children and people with acute mobility problems, as there are a series of steps up to the property, but there are parking spaces adjacent to the property via an access street with just a few steps down. The town is within a few minutes stroll with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, shops and the harbour.
Outside
The spacious private roof terrace is equipped with a marble table and 6 chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a large barbecue available. The terrace has fantastic, uninterrupted views over the sea and Kalkan and is in sunshine the whole day. The large shared pool has extensive sun bathing areas, with your own sun loungers and umbrellas - these are marked B6. The pool area is normally very quiet.
Coast/Beach
A 5 minute stroll to either the town beach or the yacht club. There is a free taxi service to Kalamar Bay, free boat service to the Mahal Beach Club. The 10 mile long, sandy Patara beach and the more local Kapatas Beaches are 20min/10min drive away respectively. Taxis or dolmus (local buses) are frequent and very reasonably priced.
Travel
Dalaman Airport is approx 1.5 hours. Antalya Airport is 3 hours.
Transfers can be arranged with an English speaking driver in an air conditioned vehicle.
Distances
Many attractions are within easy travelling distance of Kalkan. Approximately one hours drive is the harbour town of Fethiye, with access to Olu Deniz. Kaya Koy(the Greek Ghost Town) and the Lycian Rock Tombs. The breathtaking Saklikent Gorge, the sunken city of Kekova, the ancient ruins of Xanthos, Letoon, Pinara & Tlos are all within easy reach.
Further details
Mass tourism has not arrived in Kalkan. The ancient old town retains its original character, the Taurus mountains surround Kalkan Bay. You will be spoilt for choice by the many wonderful restaurants (65 last count!) offering a wide variety of menus, from traditional Turkish to the best of nouvelle cuisine at very reasonable prices. There are many varied and interesting shopping opportunities. Also a weekly Thursday market will provide you with many bargains.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable to secure the booking. Full payment to be made 4 weeks prior to departure.

Hello I am Brenda and I fell in love with Kalkan ten years ago and have been visiting ever since.
I visit Kalkan at least once and often two or three times a year. I have retired now so intend spending even more of my time there I can tell you all about the places to go and the things to see as well as the best trips, restaurants and food in the area.
