The Mountain Breeze apartments are being offered for rent for after another good rental season in 2011. On an exceptionally quiet street with open space on three sides they are the perfect place to relax and unwind. With a shared pool and large gardens. Only these two and one other apartment on the complex are rented out so there is normally a very serene atmosphere. The apartments are only 8 minutes walk from the centre of town. The apartments are always praised for the furnishings, comfort and the well stocked kitchen and linen cupboards.

Batiste (Sleeps 4. 2 Bedrooms)

Batiste is a first floor two double bedroom apartment with a pool-facing shaded veranda. All furnishings have been chosen to complement each other and are all brand new. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with full length mirrors and bedside tables. The bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower cubicle (no bumped elbows!). Batiste has a dining area separate from the lounge. The kitchen has full cooking facilities with oven, hob, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots, cups and glasses etc. There is also a washing machine and hairdryer and an iron and mini ironing board. We provide bath towels and beach towels too. |

Notes on accommodation
All bed linen and bath towels are provided. Beach towels also provided. Both are fully air-conditioned. Other apartment owners are from the UK. The welcome hamper has everything needed to get you going on your first few days, Turkish tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, eggs, tomatoes, honey, cheese, crisps etc.
Accessibility
The apartments are not adapted for wheelchairs. The layout of the apartments is very streamlined and could be easily negotiated by clients with limited eyesight.
Outside
The complex is well laid out with neat decorative gardens and maturing fruit trees. The swimming pool is raised from the gardens ensuring that children (or adults after a few drinks) can’t fall in as a result of slipping in the garden. The pool is large and the depth is around 4½ft so ideal for both those who can and can’t swim. The gardens are large with plenty of open lawned area for sunbathing and each apartment has its own sunbeds. The views from the gardens are mountains and a small orchard.
Coast/Beach
Dalyan is best known for its lush greenery, the winding river and a beach which is not just a natural wonder but also won The Times Best Open Space Award in 2008. Over 6km of golden sands with access by bus, car and boat there are cafeterias at either end for refreshments but plenty of empty space amongst the dunes to escape to.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman which is a 20 minutes drive away. Once in Dalyan car hire is not essential we are very central to town and town itself is small and everything in easy walking distance.
Distances
Everything is within walking or cycling distance in Dalyan. Our apartments are only 8 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and cafes and the river. Fethiye and Olu Deniz are 50 minutes drive away., Marmaris is about 75 minutes drive. Both of those towns also have ferries to Rhodes.
Further details
Dalyan town itself is compact stretching only a mile in any direction from the centre and is framed by a glorious backdrop of pine clad mountains in every direction. The flatness of town make it a perfect place for walking with children and the elderly and a delight to cycle around. For more active holidaymakers there are forests and hiking hills all within walking distance. Dalyan is also distinguished by the lack of package tourists though there are still plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. If you can’t find the items you want in the shops there is a sweet local market on Saturdays.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% per week is payable on booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. You can pay by a Sterling cheque sent to a UK address or into our UK bank account.

We just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed our stay in Batiste apt in Dalyan. That was definitely the best equipped apt we've ever stayed in! Also very comfortable and brightly lit, so you can just ease into your holiday straight away. The transfer arrangements also helped to ensure a smooth and uncomplicated holiday. Everyone at the complex was so helpful and friendly. We are already thinking about next year, but please keep me posted if you have other options to consider that you think we might be interested in. In the mean time, I will recommend to friends and family as I don't think anyone would be disappointed either with Dalyan or with your accomodation.

We built Amber Villas after realising that there was a demand for smart but affordable holiday homes in Dalyan, especially from larger groups. We wanted accommodation available that had style and good attention to detail. Batiste and Galatea are next door to one another and therefor perfect for two families booking a holiday together.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Because you can’t beat the tranquility of the town and the lush green scenery. Also I love freshwater swimming as much as I enjoy the sea and in Dalyan I could bathe in the lake and river as easily as I could on the beach – in fact on a boat trip I could do all three in one day! To be able to sit on the riverbank in your cossie looking at goats grazing on the mountain as blue topped boats drift by just can’t be beaten! Also Dalyan is a great base from which to explore the rest of Turkey especially the beautiful coast. I love living in this town and wanted to be able to share some of that with people coming on holiday.
Unique benefits of the property
Being so close to town and being in such a flat area we love to walk and cycle and explore. There’s a safe gated storage area at the back of the apartments for keeping bikes and a little shop just round the corner for the days we don’t want to go anywhere except the poolside. As we are on location in Dalyan it’s easy for us to help and advise with trips and tips so that your holiday goes all the more smoothly. Also because we have travelled a lot ourselves we wanted to give people a no fuss holiday, no hidden costs etc so we offer a free airport transfer (return), the welcome hamper so you can settle down a soon as you get in and even have beach towels in the apartments because the luggage allowance on most carriers is so horribly frugal these days.
