The villa has stunning views of the mountains and is located in a pine forest setting. The villa is a character property in the design of a mini 'castle' with its stone fireplace, chandeliers and tower containing a wooden spiral staircase. The furniture reflects the style of the villa and the villa has been tastefully decorated. The accommodation is spacious and is suitable for both summer and winter climates. The outside dining area overlooks the mountains and poolside. The pool area can be closed off if children are playing in the garden. The villa is within a 7 min walk from Gocek town centre and the nearest shop is 250m, where you can also catch the dolmus minibus and road train to the beach.

If more than 8 people are staying at the villa, there is an added charge of £15 to cover the extra laundry costs.
There is a reduction for only two persons staying at thevillaand for long term winter lets.

This is usually on Mondays. However, some flexibility is given due to flight times. Please phone to enquire.

| Other: | The dining area adjoins the kitchen, enabling guests to entertain guests whilst preparing food. The dining area opens directly on to the outside patio. The first floor has a gallery area which overlooks the lounge. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Fresh white cotton bed linen is provided and towels (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person). There is a mid week cleaning service and for guests staying for 2 weeks or more, a laundry linen and towel service. |
Notes on accommodation
The pool area can be shut-off from the rest of the garden if children are playing in the garden. There is central heating via radiators throughout the villa and also air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The design of the villa enables it to stay naturally cool in the summer months and for heat from the fire place to rise and heat the entire villa, in addition to the central heating.
The villa is semi detached but the other side is privately owned and not let, only occupied for 1 -2 weeks a year in the off season by the couple who own it. The villa is not overlooked & not on a complex.
The best feature of the property is the amount of living space, making it ideal for families holidaying together or for extended families staying.
Outside
The villa has a private garden with orange trees and a banana tree. The private swimming pool is in a separate part of the garden and guests can swim and sun-bathe while still admiring the mountain views. There is a selection of sun loungers and sun canopy at the poolside. Directly leading from the dining area patio doors is a large balcony which overlooks the swimming pool and has stunning mountain views. On this balcony is a feature stone work built-in BBQ and dining table and chairs for 6 people.
Coast/Beach
The town of Gocek has an exclusive yachting marina. From here you can explore the 12 islands off Gocek Bay on one of the Gulet cruises or hire a boat or yacht. 150m from the villa you can catch the road train to Inlice Plaja, Gocek's unspoilt beach. This is a 10 min ride and the service runs 3 times a day and is very cheap. The beach has a cafe, a nearby restaurant, showers and sun-loungers. For more adventurous water activities, Oludeniz is only a 45 min drive away.
Travel
Nearest Airport is Dalaman. This is 30 mins drive from the villa. Airport transfers can be arranged to and from the airport. Alternatively, Antalya Airport is 3 hours drive away.
Distances
Gocek town centre (pedestrianised) 10 mins walk from
villa. Fethiye (nearest large town) is a 40 min drive or 45 mins by Dolmus (minibus). Places of interest are the Lycian Tombs in Dalyan and the Ancient Roman city of Kaunos. Also the turtle beaches and the 12 islands off Gocek bay provide excellent scuba diving opportunities. The main attraction of Gocek are the numerous waterfront Turkish restaurants, where you can sit outside watching the sunset over the bay and mountains.
Further details
The local shop is only 250m from the villa. The nearest supermarket is a 10 min walk away in Gocek town centre. There are numerous bank kiosks in Gocek centre as well as the 2 main banks, all of which will change currency. There are tourism offices in Gocek which are able to book excursions and there are several car hire agencies and transfer companies.
