Beautiful first floor home from home apartment, air-conditioned throughout with patio doors onto large terrace, which has stone built BBQ. There is shading, if required, for days spent relaxing on the sunny terrace enabling a little privacy whilst enjoying the views of the gorgeous pool and landscaped garden. The location of the apartment is ideally situated as it's only a short, flat 6-8 minutes walk into the centre and a further few minutes to the Aegean seafront, which offers a wide variety of bars, shops and restaurants, or a stroll around the new marina and fishing harbour. There is a weekly market on Thursdays, not to be missed for your supplies of fresh fruit, vegetables, clothing and more and great fun for soaking up the Turkish culture with the very friendly locals. The village has everything to offer but still maintains its traditional Turkish style.

Living Rooms: Light airy lounge with satellite TV, DVD player Ipod docking station. 2 and 3 seater sofa beds, locally built storage cupboards and book case filled with a selection of reading.
Other: Large sunny terrace with table and 6 chairs, sun loungers and scatter cushions. built in BQ overlooking the pool and garden. Sails for shading the terrace if required. Also a small terrace at entrance to apartment.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning in living room and both bedrooms separately controlled by remote control units. Apartment is suitable for both couples and families looking for a very relaxed holiday with excellent facilities within walking distance of good restaurants, bars, shops, marina and beach. No smoking is allowed inside the apartment.

Outside
Lovely 20m swimming pool with separate children's section set in beautiful gardens with mandarin trees offering some shade, as the garden is south facing providing you with plenty of sunshine. Sun beds are available around the pool or in the garden together with scatter cushions for you to relax and enjoy. Two bicycles are available if you wish to get out and about to explore further afield. Just minutes away are tennis courts and a gym for those enthusiasts.

Coast/Beach
Our apartment is only 10-15 minutes walk to the beach with plenty of free sun beds and shades. There is a first class marina with restaurants, shops, and bars. The fishing harbour also has many restaurants, offering a wide selection of local fresh fish, bars, shops and much more.

Golf
A new golf course in Ortokent which is 10 minutes drive. there is another golf course approximately 40 minutes drive near Bodrum airport.

Travel
Bodrum airport is 45 minutes drive away. Taxis always available but private transfers can be arranged if required, or you can arrange car hire to collect from the airport or in the village which ever suits.

Distances
The local Dolmus (Bus service) is very reliable and is situated in the centre of the village providing transport to all the local areas, such as Gumusluk which is one of the oldest settlements on the peninsula. The ancient city of Myndos famous for it's fish restaurants. Turgutreis, Gumbet, Bitez and Bodrum town with it's medieval castle and plenty of night life. In the opposite direction is Gundohan which has plenty of water sports, Torba and more.

Further details
Yalikavak is a great village with all the charm of traditional Turkish culture and has everything for a great holiday. Yalikavak is positioned in the north-western corner of the Bodrum peninsula. It is one of the greenest locations on the peninsula with it's amazing blue sea and gorgeous coastline. As you reach the bay there are the ruins of three old windmills on the hills. In the spring the hills are covered like a carpet of flowers bursting with colour, a perfect place for picnics. There are shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks, cash machines, and more in the beautiful village. Plenty to see and do for every one. Many historic sites and water sports. Gulet trips offered daily or longer trips around the coast line and the beautiful tranquil bays.

Booking notes
To secure a booking £100 deposit is required and the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to departure no refund. £100 refundable deposit required before departure for possible breakages/damage to apartment.
