A small, quiet, child friendly site with friendly owners.
Accessibility
Although is is a hillside development, providing stunning views, there are numerous access points all providing level and wheelchair access to the property and the amenities. Car hire recommended.
Outside
Shared, 185sq.m multi-functional, semi-closed swimming pool. Located just next to the swimming pool is a cafe bar with resting area and sun beds. There is also an 8.5sq.m swimming pool for the children.
Coast/Beach
Less than 3km to private beach - safe swimming and snack/drink bar. 5 minute drive/bus/taxi to Gumusluk fishing village and bay, for some local shops, beach, walk to Rabbit Island, bars, market and restaurants. Ancient ruins of sunken City of Myndos can be seen, ideal for snorkeling and fishing.
Golf
Lake Tuzla has a newly built Golf Course - which is about 20 minutes away by car.
Travel
Bodrum (Milas) Airport is 40 minute drive from Tatilbelen. Transfers can be organised 24 hour service payable locally. Car hire can be organised to and from the development or airport, please refer to us for competitive terms.
Distances
25 minute drive/bus ride to city of Bodrum, with 2 bays, marina, with shopping complexes, restaurants, castle, day trip ferry to Kos, and other boat trips. Large lively market. Friendly and welcoming. Turgetres and Yalikivak are only 10 minutes drive in each direction from Tatilbelen.
Booking notes
25% deposit is payable on booking and the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A £150 refundable security deposit is payable with the balance. Paypal, cheque or bank transfer.
Reasonable use of Water and electricity is included in the rental prices. Please be aware a charge for cleaning will be made if the apartment is not left clean and tidy as in T and C.

About the owner
We are a family of 4 - 2 teenage boys, who went on holiday in 2008 for a week to Turkey and fell in love with this area. The people and locals are extremely gentle and friendly, the weather fantastic and it one of those rare places where one can go and truly relax.
This apartment is on a small development with amazing views and whilst the boys are enjoying themselves in the huge pool, we can sit back, enjoy a glass of local beer and while away the hours, whilst keeping an eye on them from the balcony - or go and join the fun!
We like to freedom of being able to hop into a hire car and explore the locality, there always something new to see. Don't need to travel too far to find a market, harbour or town to explore.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The other owners on this small development are from all over the world - they all holiday at different times and often we have the pool to ourselves. The apartments are built in individual units with separate entrances, the ground floor apartments have garden and terrace, and the first floor (like ours) have large balconies. The site has been thoughtfully landscaped and terraced and the accesses are level and so suitable for wheelchairs. There is a full time gardener. Vehicles are parked just outside the perimeter stone walls - only a 1 minute walk, and entrance to the site is by access card. There is 24 hour outside lighting. The bistro by the pool has a simple and tasty menu, of local dishes and beverages.
Unique benefits of the property
We love the relaxed surroundings, being on a small and quiet development, whilst only being 5 minutes drive from the local, famous fishing village of Gumusluk. A 10 minute walk down the hill takes you to a couple of small shops, for essential items, or the on site staff can organise a taxi, or local dolmus bus to pick you up for shopping, or shuttle you a little further if you wish.
The development is award winning because of its respect and care for the environment, the water is recycled, the roofs have carpets of flowers growing, there is much greenery to admire and it has been developed to fit in with the local surroundings. There is a private beach again 5 minutes drive or 25 minute walk, so much choice all hidden away.
