Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning throughout. Furnished to a high standard this spacious apartment has been chosen to provide excellent accommodation for the discerning holidaymaker. Large double bedroom with en-suite facilities, twin bedroom with ample storage; lounge sofa bed; tasteful decor. Choice of two pools close by. The terrace opens onto large level garden with lawns & magnificent open views over the lake to distant mountains.
The apartment provides easy access to all the central amenities but is far enough away from the activities to provide a relaxing and quieter environment for sunbathing or that quiet drink on the terrace.
Accessibility
With level access from the well lit access road, this ground floor apartment is close to all amenities. Making full use of its hillside location the level, open frontage gives extensive views over Lake Tuzla and to the distant mountains. The hillier parts of the complex could cause some problems for anyone with a disability who do not have their own transport.
Outside
The apartment has gardens to the front, side and rear. The spacious front terrace has quality patio furniture to seat six people and the views from the patio and front garden are spectacular. There is a portable BBQ for al-fresco catering. From the gardens there is quick access to the two shared adjacent swimming pools.
For anyone with an interest in birdwatching, as well as the indigenous species, Lake Tuzla has more than 260 species of migrant birds which pass through this area on their spring and autumn migrations.
Coast/Beach
From the resort entrance there is a nearby fenicula railway that takes you the short distance to the shore of the Aegean sea. There is a private jetty for marine activities, cafe's and restaurants and plenty of sunbathing facilities.
Golf
The Vita Park Golf and Country Club will be one of the biggest golf resorts in Turkey with year round golfing on two 18 hole championship golf courses. Distances
The harbour town of Bodrum is 20 minutes away from the resort. There is so much to see in Bodrum, a town of great antiquity and historical interest with its castle, Marina, bazaar's, markets, restaurants, bars and shops.
The Bodrum peninsular has many coves, headlands and inlets to explore with little fishing villages having some excellent beach side bars and restaurants.
An enjoyable few hours can be spent using the local buses to tour the peninsular towns with their colourful markets.
Further details
Every possible need is catered for on-site with bars, restaurants, gym, games, café and a shopping centre. If you wish to explore the surrounding area, a regular shuttle service transports residents to and from the centre of Bodrum where you can stroll the intimate streets and the souk, have a drink or a meal in a sea-front bar or restaurants, take a sea voyage around the peninsular's bay's, inlet's and headland's in one of the beautiful, traditional wooden Gulluk's or take the ferry to the Greek island of Kos. The local travel agencies will provide trips to the sites of Ancient Greece cities at competitive prices.
The lovely peninsular towns and villages with their restaurants and beaches are an easy bus ride away.
The excellent cosmopolitan night life of Bodrum provides live music, fine restaurants, popular bars and the Marina Club and the option, on warm summer evenings, of strolling through the bazaar with shops open 'til midnight; all this will delight you.
