The Jenni apartment is contained within the Saneil Complex of 15 privately owned, luxury apartments in the outskirts of Kalkan. It offers 2 bedrooms (with a maximum sleep for 5 people). With its unrivalled position, it offers stunning views to both Kalkan and Kalamar bays. It is positioned on the ground floor directly in front of the large, impressive fresh-water swimming pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided for sole use of Jenni apartment guests. With 24 hr security, the apartment is surrounded by landscape gardens. Guests may also use free of charge, the facilities of the nearby Asfiya Hotel and local beach clubs. Bedrooms: Master bedroom with king size bed, en-suite with shower, ample fitted wardrobe space, air conditioning, hairdryer and sea-view. Bedroom 2 (large) with twin beds, large fitted wardrobes, vanity unit and air-conditioning.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with shower cubicle and WC, antique marble floor tiles.
Second bathroom with large shower cubicle, WC and antique marble floor tiles.
Kitchen: Kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances: gas hob, cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, extensive range of kitchen utensils, wrought iron breakfast table and 4 matching chairs.
Utility Room: Large, private rear patio houses washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes dryer.
Living Rooms: The large open-plan lounge has breathtaking views to Kalkan and Kalamar bays. It has its own air conditioning, i-Pod docking station, 3 seater settee plus matching chair. A connecting door leads directly to the large recently enlarged terrace.
Other: The enlarged balcony is large with a wrought iron, marble-topped table and 4 matching chairs plus 2 reclining sun loungers for all round relaxation! From here, guests can enjoy the unbroken spectacular views to Kalkan, Kalamar and mountains.

Notes on accommodation
Modern and impressive, the apartment is built to a very high standard. Antique marble flooring is standard throughout. Air conditioning is present throughout (not just the bedrooms!) and can be used to heat the rooms as well as cool. A large Z-bed is available for those needing extra sleeping accommodation. The apartment is non-smoking in all internal areas. Due to its position, the apartment is unsuitable for people with limited mobility. A small Welcome Pack will be provided for guests on their arrival. Free Wi-Fi connection is available at all times.

Outside
A large, impressive, shared freshwater swimming pool is available to guests, who also have use of private sun loungers and umbrellas. Landscape gardens to the front and rear of the apartment. The large balcony has marble topped table and matching chairs plus 2 further sun loungers and offers stunning views to both Kalkan and Kalamar bays.
The complex has it's own generator which automatically cuts in when there is a power cut, so providing an unbroken supply to all apartments at all times.

Coast/Beach
Kalkan town beach is 15 mins walk away. There are 5 beach clubs in the area 2 of which offer free return taxi transfers. These also offer water sports, sun loungers and umbrellas, showers and excellent bar/restaurant facilities. Patara beach is famous for its 18kms of unbroken sand and clear warm water. Full amenities also provided here. Kaputas is another acclaimed beach close to Kalkan.

Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport to Kalkan and is approx 1 hour 20 mins away. Taxi/mini-bus transfers or car hire can be arranged for guests. Car hire is not essential in Kalkan as local transport is both plentiful and cheap. All the local tourist beauty spots are easily accessed. Taxis are cheap and plentiful (approx. £4 to the village).

Apartment to Kalkan village 15 mins walk. Kalamar Beach club 3 mins drive. Patara Beach 25 mins drive. Kas 30 mins drive. Kaputas beach 15 mins drive. Fetiyhe 1 hr drive. Saklikent Gorge 35 mins drive.

Further details
Kalkan is a picturesque fishing village with a great deal of history. At its centre lies the harbour with a mix of local fishing craft, gulets and visiting yachts. Guests can find the perfect sea adventure here from the many on offer each day. Kalkan's streets are narrow and not flat, therefore not really suitable for guests with mobility problems. They do, however, contain many local boutique shops which are a nightly attraction to all tourists. Although Kalkan is a very sleepy village by day whilst the tourists enjoy the sun and surroundings, it comes alive in the evening as people make their nightly pilgrimage to one of the many, many individual roof-top restaurants for which Kalkan is most famous. Here you will find menus and wines to excite all tastes. Quite a number of these restaurants feature annually in reports provided by national newspapers in the UK. Restaurants which, although sophisticated and chic, are still very Turkish and suited to most people's pockets. Supermarkets can be found in the village and they provide a free home delivery service for you and your provisions(you have to ask for this service!)! There is an excellent weekly market each Thursday where you can barter for goods (T-shirts, jeans, spices etc etc) as well as food produce from the local farmers. Not to be missed! There are several banks with ATM machines and a Post Office, all in the village.

About the owner
Jenni and I live in Laughton en le Morthen in South Yorkshire. We have two sons and two grandchildren.We are both retired teachers having spent all our professional lives working in education. Jenni still teaches a couple of days every week and I am Chairperson of the Governing Body of a local Special School. Having visited Kalkan for more than ten years and always staying in hotels, we decided to buy our lovely apartment from new in 2004. It is a simple indication of how much we have fallen in love with Kalkan and the Turkish people residing there. We visit Kalkan three or four times every year, squeezing in between the times when our guests are there. Kalkan has weaved its magic on us from the very first visit. We have every confidence that it will do the same for you.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
During one of our many holidays in Kalkan we came across the Saneil apartments shortly after their completion but before they were sold. After visiting the site and seeing for ourselves the stunning location and the quality of the building, we decided to buy. Being lovers of Kalkan for many years, we felt that this could only be seen as "a dream come true"! After six years, Jenni and I can certainly confirm this. Everything about the apartment has confirmed to us that it is a superb acquisition, based upon its position, quality of accommodation and location to the village. This is reinforced by the comments from our guests, many of whom make return bookings to the apartment.

Unique benefits of the property
The first impression any first-time guests experience is the stunning location of this complex of apartments. The views from the extensive terrace to Kalkan and Kalamar are breathtaking and unbroken. Directly in front of the apartment is the beautiful, large swimming pool with centrally positioned palm trees. Although the apartment is on the ground floor it does overlook the pool and this is very helpful to any parents who wish to oversee their children from the terrace(see Gallery photos). The apartment has its own sunbeds and umbrellas dedicated to the sole use by all guests. Relaxed sunbathing around the pool is guaranteed at all times! 24 hour security and maintenance is on site for all. Guests and their peace-of-mind.
