The apartment has stunning views over lake Tuzla which attracts many rare birds including flamingos and pelicans. The extensive on-site facilities include 7 outdoor communal pools, indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, fitness suite, tennis court, kids play area, water sports, supermarket, restaurant and bar. The new PGA Vita Park Golf Club is only 10 mins away. The apartment is ideal for couples and families wanting a relaxed holiday in quieter surroundings as well as easy access to the wider Bodrum peninsula. Bodrum offers something for everyone including excellent restaurants and bars, shopping, sea front walks and its own historic castle. It also offers a frequent ferry service to the Greek island of Kos. The breathtaking coastline of the peninsula is dotted with many traditional and picturesque villages. This area also provides an ideal base to explore further afield including the ancient city of Ephesus.

Kitchen: Fully fitted contemporary style kitchen. Equipped with dishwasher, microwave oven, family size fridge/freezer, electric hob, toaster, kettle and cooking / dining utensils for 6 people.
Utility Room: Washing machine located in main bathroom. Also included is a large clothes dryer / clothes pegs, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms: Open plan lounge/dining area leading to front terrace overlooking swimming pool and lake Tuzla. Modern design throughout with TV and DVD player. Large dining area with dining table and chairs. Two and 3 seater sofas (3 seater opens into a double bed).
Cleaning/towels/

Bed linen and towels are provided (doesn't include beach towels). The apartment will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. Additional cleaning and linen change can be facilitated locally at guests request (additional charge will apply).

 

Notes on accommodation
On site facilities also include 24 hour security and a travel agent who can arrange day trips, transfers and car hire.

Free Wi-Fi is available by the main pool / bar area. Another supermarket and restaurant is conveniently located at the entrance to the resort.

Accessibility
Access to the apartment is via 3 steps and a short pathway. Steps lead down from the front of the apartment to the communal swimming pool.

The general site is hilly and therefore unsuitable for the less mobile or elderly on foot. With a car though all areas of the site are accessible.

Outside
Large front covered patio area with table, chairs and sun umbrella where you can enjoy your breakfast or evening meal taking in the beautiful views. Patio storage area houses patio furniture and sun loungers with cushions. Private garden in front and to the side of the apartment. Path and steps down to a large communal swimming pool. The shared pool in front of the apartment is one of the biggest on site. The resort opened this year and extensive planting of flowers, shrubs and trees continues to adorn all areas across the site.

The main pool area on the site offers two pools, one with water slides. Beside the main pool is a bar with thatched roof where you can sit and enjoy a relaxing drink shaded from the sun. There is also a small kiddies paddling pool. Sun loungers are provided at all pools on the site.

Coast/Beach
The private beach club is accessed via a mono rail that is approx 10 minutes walk from the apartment. A free bus transfer from the main reception is also available. The beach club offers beach, large jetty and sun loungers, bar and restaurant facilities. There is also access to a number of local beaches on the Aegean within 5 mins drive of the apartment.

Golf
The fabulous new Vita Park PGA standard Golf complex is located on the edge of lake Tuzla and is within 10 mins drive of the resort. The par 71 course hugs the contours of the lake and offers a challenge for all standards. There is also a challenging 6 hole par 3 course shared with the neighbouring Flamingo resort.

Special interest holidays
For nature lovers and bird watchers alike lake Tuzla is formed by the deep inlet from the Gulf of Gulluk and Mandalya Bay and is surrounded by hills covered with olive groves, pine and tamarisk trees. The area is a nature reserve of particular beauty with flamingos, pelicans and white storks visiting at certain times of the year.

Travel
Bodrum Milas airport is only 15 minutes drive away which is serviced direct from the UK by several airlines including Easyjet, Pegasus, Turkish Airlines and Thomas Cook. Transfer to and from the resort can be easily arranged in advance via the on-site travel agent who will collect you at the airport and deliver you to the apartment directly (paid locally). If you wish to explore further afield during your stay and wish to hire a car, the on site travel agent can arrange this in advance also.

Distances
The bustling tourist centre of Bodrum is approx 20 mins drive away. If you don't have a car the local Dolmus bus service provides a regular service from the resort across the Bodrum peninsula for approx £2 each way. There are several local fishing villages within 1km of the resort such as Bogazici in Mandalya Bay that are easily accessible by local taxi services. Here you will be able to sample the excellent locally caught fish.

Further details
The Turquoise resort is a new luxury self contained resort with extensive facilities on hand to make your stay a relaxed and enjoyable one. You will probably be tempted to pamper yourself at the on site Turkish bath and spa (treatments are charged locally but prices are very reasonable). Whilst you could easily spend your stay local to the resort you may well want to travel a little further afield and see some of the many attractions that this beautiful region of Turkey has to offer.

The on-site travel agent can recommend and book for you a variety of trips including boat trips along the stunning Aegean coastline, trips to sites of historical interest such as the ancient Roman city of Ephesus (approx one and half hours away), a round of golf on the fabulous local Vita Park golf course, off-road jeep excursions, whatever takes your fancy. Equally you can just explore the local coastline under your own steam and discover picturesque fishing villages.

The town of Bodrum boasts a fabulous marina lined with chic shops and restaurants. Shop for designer ware, visit local craft fairs and traditional shopping areas and bring yourself home a bargain. If you visit Bodrum be sure to visit the wonderful Bodrum castle.

If you want something a bit livelier at night time Bodrum is the place to be with its many lively bars and night clubs including Halikanas, the biggest open air nightclub in Europe. There is definitely something for everyone in this region.

Bookings can be made by either email or telephone. £100 deposit (non-refundable) will secure. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival along with £100 security deposit (will be refunded within 2 weeks of return if no damage or lost keys). Rental costs include water, electricity, laundry and clean. Additional clean and launder can be facilitated (pay locally if required). All clients are advised to take out holiday insurance as the owners cannot accept liability for loss of valuables or injury.
