Villa Calis has 3 bedrooms, all bedrooms have wardrobes and plenty of storage space. There is a fully fitted kitchen, dining table and lounge with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and CD/iPod player. The villa has a large garden area which is fully enclosed by a wall. The garden and pool enjoy the sun from sunrise until sunset. There is an outdoor dining area, a pergola providing shade and a brick built barbecue. Sun loungers, tables, chairs and shades are provided. The villa is set in a quiet peaceful location with stunning views of the mountains yet is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. All areas are easily accessible by Dolmus and the local cheap taxi system. There is a 24 hour management company on hand for any emergencies or queries.

Notes on accommodation
Gated driveway with fully enclosed walled garden. Safety bars fitted on every window and mosquito nets on most windows and doors to allow the windows to be open fully during the night in preference to air conditioning. High chairs and cots available for hire. Please note: The swimming pool is the regulation for Turkey - 1.4m. There is no shallow end, so children and non swimmers will need supervision. This is a non smoking villa.

The garden and pool enjoys the sun from sunrise to sunset.
Coast/Beach
3 minutes walk from the villa is a beach, 3 beach bars/restaurant, toilets, free sunbeds and umbrellas. Calis is a 25 minute walk with a seemingly endless sandy beach. Bars and restaurants line the beach area which is block paved along the promenade. Calis boasts two natural attractions, a cooling summer breeze and beautiful sunsets.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dalaman which is a 40min drive. Car hire can be arranged per day and delivered to the villa or from most major hire car companies at Dalaman airport. Less than 1 minutes walk from the villa you can flag down the Dolmus which takes approx 15 minutes to Fethiye and 25 minutes to Hisanoru/Olu Deniz. This is a very convenient hop on/hop off service. Also the Taxi rank is less than 1 minutes walk from the villa. You can also get a water taxi from Calis town centre to Fethiye.

Further details
Across the road is a small local shop that offers bread and other grocery provisions. Alternatively there are large modern supermarkets in Fethiye. Within a 3 minute walk you have 4 beach bars offering traditional Turkish/English food and drinks, Turkish nights and barbecued food. On a Sunday there is an open market in Calis and on a Tuesday in Fethiye where they sell everything you can want.

Balance to be paid 8 weeks before start of rental. £200 breakage deposit paid in UK and will be refunded within 5 working days upon confirmation from our agents that no loss or damage has occurred during your stay at the villa. Bookings made within 8 weeks of departure require full payment.

'The villa had everything we needed for a perfect week in the sun. The pool was a good size and very well kept along with the gardens. The villa was clean, spacious and the air conditioning in every room was very welcome, particularly at night. It is situated in a lovely area, just a short walk from the beach with very friendly local shops on hand for essentials and a taxi service and buses running right outside. We all had a really enjoyable week, just booked a couple of excursions (12 island boat trip and Saklikent/Tlos) which are good value, excellent days out and picked up/dropped off right to the villa. We visited Fethiye and Hisonaru which offered a great value and choice of places to eat in the evenings. The sunsets were amazing! All in all a lovely holiday and villa. We wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future or recommend to others'

About the owner
Since 1994 we have owned and ran our own branding, marketing and design consultancy. This has kept us very busy and when our family came along we found holidays in hotels/apartments tricky so this is what lead us to look for a place of our own. We wanted somewhere that we could relax and the kids had plenty of freedom to run about. As a family we love going to the villa. I love it for the peace and quiet and it is the only time me and my husband manage to read a book! The kids love it as they can splash/jump in the pool without getting in anyone's way.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought in the area because it was close to the beach, it was quiet yet with plenty of things to do and most of all we just fell in love with the spot where the house would be built.
Unique benefits of the property
We enjoy that there is such a large gated garden that I know no one can come in or out without me knowing. We love that the beach is just down the road and on the short walk down we always pop in to the local shop and get an ice lolly. We just love sitting on the veranda or splashing about in the pool and watching the most beautiful sunset in the world.
