The Palm Beach complex is set within its own secure area with 24 hour security. There are 6 blocks with approx 6 apartments in each. The gardens within the complex are constantly maintained with beautiful trees, plants and flowers. The site also includes private off road parking. The large shared pool is maintained daily and along with its showers it boasts many courtesy sunbeds and umbrellas. The local bus stops right outside the gate and for about 60p will take you into the main town Fethiye. Most bars offer free wi-fi and some have there own PCs for you to use. With an average of 300 sunny days a year you're almost guaranteed beautiful weather.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Extra days can be added at 1/7 of the weekly cost per day. When booking from one price range into another the price will be calculated accordingly. Bookings for 3 consecutive weeks or more qualify for 10% discount off the full rental price.
Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Mondays although this may be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
There are 3 wall mounted remote controlled air-conditioning units in the apartment which comfortably keep the temperature at a relaxing level. Suitable for all age groups as there is something for everyone.
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
Accessibility
Although situated on the ground floor there are 4 or 5 small steps leading up to the front entrance of the apartment.
Outside
Situated within beautifully kept gardens and trees it is in an ideal location without the need to venture anywhere should you not want to. A small portable BBQ is supplied for use within the complex. The pool is a shared pool of good size. The pool area is normally quiet because there are so many excellent trips to go on, people are always out. The large lounge balcony facing the pool has a large patio table and 6 chairs.
Coast/Beach
The beach is just a 2 min walk away and is famous for its turtles. I would describe the beach itself as being of very fine shingle rather than sand. If you prefer the beaches there are thousands of sun beds/umbrellas available. These are mostly owned by the adjacent bars and are free to use if you are buying your food/drinks from them.
Golf
There is a new golf course near Dalaman airport (approx 40 min). Although I am a keen golfer I have not been yet so I can't comment. Hopefully I will update soon.
Special interest holidays
About 30 mins by bus is the seaside town of Oludeniz with its crystal clear waters, world famous paragliding and the stunning nature park of the Blue Lagoon.
Travel
The local airport is Dalaman and is approx a 35-40 mins drive. Like all Turkey there is a £10 visa charge per person. Upon request transfers can be arranged on your behalf from £80 return for 1-3 people. Car hire is available but I would not recommend it if you are not familiar with the route. Car hire is available from Palm Beach should you require it later.
Distances
Located in Calis, Palm Beach is about a 15 min walk along the promenade to the town center. The main town of Fethiye is a bus ride away (approx 60p). You can get the bus right outside Palm Beach. Alternatively you can get the water taxi from Calis town center (approx £1.40). Fethiye has a very large market every Tuesday and is well worth the visit (you must haggle). Fethiye is full of everything you'd expect from a large town and is where most boat trips start from.
Further details
Wherever you go you will see shops offering money exchange. You will find these offer far better exchange rates than you will get back home. Palm beach has it's own rep that will offer you a range of day trips/excursions such as jeep safari, fishing trips, quad biking, water park, 12 island boat trip, sunset cruise to name but a few. Also don't forget a Turkish bath (recommended).
Booking notes
£50 deposit must be made to confirm your booking. Should you later wish to cancel the deposit will be returned providing at least 8 wks notice is given. The remainder of the balance must be paid 6 wks before your holiday begins. A £50 cheque is required to cover any breakages. The £50 will be returned after inspection.

About the owner
Palm Beach c1 is owned by Phil and Lisa from Gillingham Kent. We bought the apartment from new in June 2007 as a holiday home. It wasn't until summer 2009 we decided to rent it out to the general public of which has proven to be very popular.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought our apartment because it was in a beautiful and up and coming area. Turkey is not part of the E.U and does not use the Euro making the cost of living cheaper than other European countries along with the Turkish people being very friendly.
